If I survived and recovered from a heart attack so quickly, I'd probably eat a burger too. Also if this picture gets shown on Raw, chances are they'll audio-censor it like they do every other time it happens.

You don't need to be a doctor to have some common sense.

You don't need to be a doctor to have some common sense. When you have no clue about his health or habits you should be before telling him how to live or declaring he's going to have another heart attack.

Loving the holier than thou attitude about Jerry eating a burger. Let's all continue to judge an adult who probably knows a little more about his health than we do.

At first glance I thought he was giving us the finger and OMGZ Heel turn! He has turned his back on the WWE Universe.

When you have no clue about his health or habits you should be before telling him how to live or declaring he's going to have another heart attack. Doctors may think and come off as if what they say is 100% fact, when that's really the case about 98% of the time. I know this from experience, and I know hundreds of thousands of people around the world would agree with me. If I just barely survived a heart attack, and my doctor told me I could still eat burgers and such, I still wouldn't eat greasy foods for a good while, especially not a week after my heart attack. Better safe than sorry. Yeah, we don't know if what Lawler is eating is healthy or not. If it's healthy, awesome. If it isn't, whatever, that's his choice. But if he goes through another episode again, god forbid, he'll know what he was eating didn't help prevent it, and that's if he even survives next time for him to realize. If I survived alcohol poisoning after a night of extremely heavy drinking (which I don't do, but let's say for example), and my doctor told me everything was perfectly normal again, rest assure I wouldn't be going near a bottle any time soon.

Not sure if it's brought up, but how do we know this pic was from after his heart attack? It could be from before, no?
I didn't check twitter or facebook or anything, so just ignore me if I'm wrong, but it may be an older pic.

Yeah, King is generally incredibly healthy, I mean, look at him. The man does not like 62. Compare him to Ric Flair, who is around the same age. He can have a burger once in awhile. That's just normal. He's not stuffing his face with tons of burgers. It was also brought up that he has family history as well. Let the King eat his burger. He seems pretty responsible with his health, why the hell not. Yeah King does look after his health, he doesn't drink or smoke as well. His heart attack was probably bought on by his wrestling career (if that makes sense) and age. Not from his eating habits. Plus we have no real context for this photo, it could be old.

In his case, the heart attack was more likely caused by a blood clot than cholesterol, so his diet may not even be a factor. Yep. My dad had a heart attack caused by a clot, his doctor never told him what he should/shouldn't eat due to the whole thing not being caused by his diet.

People forget the fact that Lawler was working indy shows before Raw that night, so that would have more of a factor to the heart attack than eating a whopper or two

To be fair to Lawler, we've always said that he doesn't keep up with the product he's announcing. He probably doesn't even know he HAD a heart attack. *insert the clapping gifs here*

It was a freak accident. I mean he had too have passed a physical before he was allowed too wrestle that night. All the things talked about would have shown up before hand if he high blood pressure or high counts on anything like cholesterol. Blood Clots I don't think can be found on a test.
The guy been active wrestling for longer then most of us been alive and had sports physical regularly. With not having a lot of injuries over the years. I think HE would know more about his health then we do. Common sense is only fine when you know the details on the guys health. As I pointed out he been wrestling for a long time. I think he would know what the right chooses too make in eating right too wrestle.
Everyone is going all crazy over a burger.

Good ol' JR had eaten the rest of the burger and that's why King's giving him the middle finger off-camera.

How did we go from, 'how does this chubby guy make fun of Vickie', to 'he's in great shape'?

Do we even know that his heart attack was caused by anything to do with poor diet or cholesterol? Some heart conditions that develop later in life are just defects and have nothing to do with what you eat. Dean Malenko had a heart attack a few years ago, and he kept himself in shape. Of course, he still did eat donuts and junk food every now and then. When you look at him, he does look like he tries to keep fit, especially during the times he gets into the ring.
