My favorite ones are the "This is the plan for what's going to happen, but be warned that they may change it now that we've reportd on it." Haha, yeah, that's always a good reliable one. Always give yourself an out, right?

Wait up Kaitlyn/Roddy Piper? There was a report from Ryan Clark a lil while back about Piper sexually harrasing Kaitlyn backstage or something. Kaitlyn denied it.

My favorite Ryan Clarki-sm was a report that Sable and Randy Orton's fiance got into a fight. But in the midst of the story that HIS SITE WAS REPORTING it said "Other sites (Not this one) are reporting"
Bryan Alvarez, Dave Meltzer, Wade Keller, Jason Powell and PWinsider Guys (original news sites, not C and P sites) report what they are told. Their sources may be wrong but they report what they are told.

I loved that news story the other day that consisted of 'CENA MIGHT BE MAD AT VINCE, WE HAVE NO EVIDENCE AT ALL BUT HERE'S SOME CONJECTURE FROM A GUY THAT DOESN'T WORK THERE'

Wanna know something funny? There are actually people out there that pay for these NEWZ sites. You wanna know something funnier? There are people who don't, but still criticize certain content without having ever read or heard them in the intended context. You cannot judge anything, if you haven't examined it firsthand. These people are the NEWZ on newz. They jump on sites like Observer, when its C&P hacks like Ryan Clark whom they should be hating --people who take reported newsbits and make things up or add to them. The Meltzer-haters are the dirt worst. It's like they somehow take offense to someone criticizing, or shining a potentially not-so-flattering light on something they love. They have not the ability to just take things with a grain of salt (or just shut up about it, since, like I said, 9/10 times the things bemoaned here are taken out of context), and instead take it so personally, you'd think that they or their personal identity were insulted/attacked. And as for the Kelly Kelly thing. Meltzer reported that she was unhappy and wanted to leave. Then he reported that WWE wanted her to stay and had been trying to convince her to. Then Kelly says "No thanks", gives her release, and leaves anyway, and Meltzer is wrong? Here's the deal. Meltzer has people who feed him info. And like any fly-on-the-wall gossip, these people may not always know the whole story, or may, on occasion, mention things out of spite I'd imagine. Meltzer doesn't just "make things up," like the moronic belief is. If someone did a little research they'd see that Meltzer has incredible credentials and respect in the industry, has open friendships/contact with many of its top stars, was consulted by all three companies during the Monday Night War, and even directly worked for Vince once as a consultant in the late 80's.

Yeah, and Meltzer was saying even last week that there was nothing to the reports of a deal between WWE & All Japan. Just that Johnny Ace had dinner with some of the AJPW bosses, and they thought he had more power in the company than he currently does. As for Shaul Guerrero, even her mother Vicki confirmed on Twitter that she wanted to be released. So that story isn't "newz".

Sean, you have no idea how much I appreciate having you as the Meltzer defender now, because you're way better at it then I am. Wanna start doing it for me at Sherdog too? Meltzer, Powell, Keller, and usually PWInsider are the guys I generally trust. And because they're trusted, is why everyone always uses their names for credibility. If Dave says "I think Punk is going over Cena at HiaC" on his radio show, the next morning Ryan Clark has "According to Meltzer, the plan is for Punk to retain at HiaC" posted on his site

Another recent item concerns the Alex Shelley WWE rumors. First it was that while Shelley has not yet signed with WWE despite elsewhere, he's been in serious talks and the belief is that they are very close to signing a deal soon. Then the following week it was people in WWE are not even talking about Shelley anymore. They can't sign him due to the TNA lawsuit.

I remember a while back on a smackdown spoilers post that Sheamus had hit Daniel Bryan with 3 brogue kicks after their match on Smackdown. I don't recall the source but its so funny to see spoilers get twisted like that. I don't mind newz sites, they tend to be very funny. I have no problem with Meltzer and Sean was spot on with his comments. My only gripe is that it doesn't matter if his content comes straight from Vince McMahon himself, getting ridiculed comes with the practice of running a rumor mill. TMZ is possibly the largest cesspool outside of 4chan. Just because they hide inside Beyonce's closet doesn't mean she wears granny panties.

That's why I usually use this place for my news. Sure it takes a little longer, but give it time and you guys filter out the B.S. This is the last place I go to for that because I think people add BS on the side to show them smarks a thing or two. I also don't want to hear what someone said about what someone said about Meltzer said. I feel gross inside for using the S word.

And that is a perfect example of s shitstain site taking an opinion that was talked about in an audio show and twisting it to get hits. Reporter talks about Punk's run and compares his run to Hart's first runs and how he's become a work horse for them and now it's spun into WWE is saying this and that. And the sad part is more people will read this and believe it than get the actually story.

Yeah, and Meltzer was saying even last week that there was nothing to the reports of a deal between WWE & All Japan. Just that Johnny Ace had dinner with some of the AJPW bosses, and they thought he had more power in the company than he currently does. IIRC, the original news story was something like "A Japanese newspaper has written an article where they claim that AJPW is going to work closer with WWE". And that was indeed the case: an article like that was published. That doesn't mean that the paper was correct, but of course that won't stop Rajah etc. from saying "Yes, there's clearly a done deal".

My mistake, it was not his fiancee. It was his mistress. Yes, mistress.
