First teaser is now up. Could be a "big dumb fun" type of movie like the last one. Yeah, I enjoyed Live Free or Die Hard, get off it. Was it compared to the original trilogy? Hell no. As somebody's fan-fiction though, it worked.

I think the reason I hated Live Free and probably won't like this one, is that John McCain started as this everyman that happened to get mixed up in these high stakes situations. He was badass but a real badass.

I thoroughly enjoyed "Live Free or Die Hard" and can't understand why people were so adamantly against it for being this big, loud, obnoxious, dumb shoot-em-up action movie. It's a "Die Hard" movie! It's in it's DNA to be a big, loud, obnoxious, dumb shoot-em-up action movie!
It'd be like lamenting "The Expendables 2" for lack of plot.

Wasn't Patrick Stewart supposed to be the villain in this? Did that not happen?
Patrick Stewart needs to play more villains, seriously.

No McLane interacting with Klingons, no buys. It took me way longer to get this than it should have. Especially since I'm in the middle of watching TNG for the first time on Netflix.

Die Hard with a Vengeance is one of the best comedy/action/buddy style movies ever. This. McClane shooting up from the aqueduct is probably my favorite moment in cinematic history.

I wanted the title to be "Only The Good Die Hard." I'm still miffed over it not being that.

I'm such a sucker for Bruce Willis, it's kind of pathetic. This looks like fun to me! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I know this is really nit picky but I don't like "bald" John McClane. It just doesn't look right to me. Yes I know Bruce Willis is bald but I'm sure with Hollywood magic they could give McClane the receding hairline look he had in the first three Die Hard movies. Again I know it's nit picky but when I see the trailer I just see Bruce Willis and not John McClane. U wot m8?

He's going to be bald in this one too? I know it's a petty thing to gripe about, but John McClane isn't the same without hair.

I think the reason I hated Live Free and probably won't like this one, is that John McCain started as this everyman that happened to get mixed up in these high stakes situations. He was badass but a real badass. I like all the Die Hard movies, but I LOVE the first Die Hard for this very reason. It was just an imperfect guy thrust into extraordinary circumstances that called for him to be better than he's ever been to save his wife and others from a terrible situation. The sequels are all fun flicks, but he no longer feels like an underdog, and it goes beyond my suspension of disbelief that John McClane keeps finding himself in these situations of progressively escalated threats to the entire world.
