Not gonna lie...I marked a little when Ryback hit the clothesline and had him up on his shoulders. I don't get the Ryback hate. I don't deny that he's over. I just can't get behind him at all.

Well, the crowd was into it, but I'm not sure that failing to beat a 70 year old man is the best thing for Punk's character right now. Punk is supposed to be a pathetic weasel that runs from everything. And there's the problem.

Did Punk just jack a dude in the crowd? I think so. Yeah, I'm almost 99% sure he did. I thought the show was okay. Personally, I can't get into Ryback at all, so it pains me that they're pushing him. But that's just me.

Seeing him almost get his at the hands of Ryback was awesome! Him running away from McMahon only helps to build the anticipation/climax for when he finally gets his ass kicked. Kind of like Hollywood Hogan during his feud with Sting. You wanted to see Sting finally get him. Punk running away tonight only serves to keep on building that anticipation. Say what you will about heel punk, they're doing it right.

yeah if you're 12 ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh And that is why so many will never be happy. They cant accept that the product has changed, and that the audience demographic is slightly lower and just hate on everything because it isnt aimed at them any more, because they grew up and the product didn't. Raw dragged, they're 3 hour shows, they all do now, but that was an exciting ending with a new star literally being created on the spot. Yeah people should be content with the fact the show they loved for years that DID age with them over the past 15 years or so regressed into a show for 11 year olds while pop culture and TV in general has taken on a more reality/ adult themed feel the product they are watching is geared towards kids in middle school whos parents wont let them watch Honey Boo Boo.

CM Punk punched/smacked the hell out of a guy in the crowd. Right near the end. I watched it in slo-mo on my DVR and the fan wasn't doing anything.

I don't think I've seen the hard camera shake in like 10 years. Good job Sacramento It happened before Summerslam a couple of years ago with the Nexus/Team WWE brawl on the go home show.

The Best in The World, getting beat up by a senior citizen. I guarantee a raging Vince McMahon with a Singapore cane would scare the hell out of you too...We all know Vince is nuts Get out of here with your logical explanations, sir.

So let me get this straight... Vince challenges Punk to a no holds barred brawl, is the first one to use weapons, gets the help of both Ryback & Cena, and we're supposed to boo Punk for escaping while he still can ? Oh, yeah, I forgot : WWE faces are dicks. (can't say I enjoyed the show) You forgot Punk slapping Vince and attacking him before the match. Typical.

I like the guy and hes over as f*** I don't get why people like him. Roided up meatheads like him are a dime a dozen. He gets gassed in any match over 2 minutes, can't talk and is unsafe

Well, the crowd was into it, but I'm not sure that failing to beat a 70 year old man is the best thing for Punk's character right now. Punk is supposed to be a pathetic weasel that runs from everything. I don't think it's really what he should be doing at all, but he is pulling it off as well as he could hope to do. That's how I see it... It's a heel turn nobody asked for, but through sheer stubbornness, it's finally starting to click.

You can't put the title on him now, unless you have a creative way to get it off of him. Hotshotting him would be dumb business.

I don't deny that he's over. I just can't get behind him at all. I haven't marked that hard in years. Awesome.

that wouldve been the best Raw ending in AGES.....IF Ryback had hit his finisher. I think its even better he didn't...Work the anticipation up to a boiling point till he finally does it and wins the title

I think its even better he didn't...Work the anticipation up to a boiling point till he finally does it and wins the title EXACTLY! They're building a heel in the classical sense. To the point where you WANT to see him get his ass kicked in a major way. I miss that. It's good to see them at least trying it again. If this were 2009, Ryback would have hit that finisher and it would have felt really anti-climactic.
