Question for those that already have the game, can you set a Superstars Thread attire edit to be that superstars default attire? So say they popped up in a Universe scene they would be wearing the edited attire.

Unfortunately no You can't pick attires for King of the Ring either, you're just stuck with the defaults.

About time we got an Inside the Ring with Bryan Williams. I might actually use the limb targeting system this year.
Thank Trent Baretta & Tyson Kidd for the Superplex to the outside. Them doing it in a match on Superstars gave Bryan the idea to get it in the game.

Could you tell us what Non playable characters are available in design a story mode? Is naomi in the cast? Tried asking other places but never have had an answer to the question .

I'm really happy to see that the Rikishi piledriver is in.

Sorry, but having got the game and having hated WWE 12, I think you are so far off the mark with your analysis.

While I broadly agree with your points, from your comments underneath, you don't seem to understand how DLC works. Even Day 1 DLC needs to be worked on after the game has gone gold, and giving it away for free means that they might not have the finances for later DLC. And just because we've seen one or two animations and pictures of Ryback and Cesaro doesn't mean they were complete and bug-free by the time the discs were pressed.

To be fair, he had been in the game as part of the regular roster for the last few years, so there probably wasn't anything left to add.

Yeah, the sign-editing thing has been around for a few years now. Think maybe longer than Superstar Threads itself.
Please tell me you can edit Money in the Bank and the Royal Rumble again this year. Still want to find the person who decided to patch that out and kick them square in the balls.

I think it's too early to write it off as the "same game". Even though it's based on a time in wrestling that's already happened, the Attitude Era mode is something new, Universe mode is a fairly new thing, the fact that THQ are actually introducing DLC to keep the roster somewhat up to date is a new thing. I'm sure there are going to be nuances of the game that are frustrating as they haven't released anything spotless, but even I, pessimistic as I tend to be about these games can't help but be really anxious to try it because there are a lot of things going for it that I'm really interested in. I'm sure it plays similar and looks similar to previous games that's because it's a continuation of previous games. It's a real gamble to expect someone to come around and build something great from the ground up because every time that's happened in the past few years(Legends of Wrestlemania, Legends of Wrestling, the TNA game) it's been a real stinker. Every time THQ abolished everything and started over it's stunk, I find since WWE '12 they're finally getting somewhere. I'm not gonna say don't knock it until you try it but there are very few people who even played the full game at this point so I'd encourage at least waiting to hear word of mouth before dismissing it.

Speaking of the rumble, did they keep the 40 man rumble in?
On the article: Given that the game is catered to those who are both nostalgic for the Attitude Era and those who didn't really get into wrestling until it was in full gear (Like me, I started watching in January '99), I would gladly take a mode like Attitude Mode over "Press X to Win Match" segments like there were in the last game.

Same here, though personally would take Road to WrestleMania as it was from 2009 to 2011 over either.

If they really re-animated the Curtain Call for Attitude Era Goldust, it'd be back to being the hangman's neckbreaker, not the lifting reverse DDT. I didn't imagine that, right? ;D

Ben, if you're still taking questions, what songs do you know are menu music?
I know: Drew McIntyre (Which will only make me want his DLC to be out even more) Evolution David Otunga
What else is there?

I know Smoke & Mirrors and Cult of Personality are from trailers, and I think Bryan's theme is too.

There's the music in the Attitude Mode where an Attitude Era wrestler's theme plays along with soundbites of said wrestler (i.e.: Bret Hart and his "Bullshit" rant", The Rock and various of his witticisms)
