I wonder how the robe and jeans combination would look, though.

You mean plain blue trunks with WADE BARRETT written in block letters on his ass don't work for you?
What if I told you that on smackdown he wore RED trunks with wade barrett written on them instead?

I recall another English guy trying this look out, the less said about it the better... I actually didn't mind it, the only problem is that he didn't a gimmick or reason for it, he wears it because he wears it. If he had Barrett's current gimmick with that look, then maybe there might be a chance it would succeed.

Might be because I have a bit of an obsession with this film at the moment, but what if he wore slacks and braces like the fight scenes in Bronson?

I love the knee pads on the outside of the jeans look. If he wore them like that, cool.
As long as he doesn't wear jean shorts

My only real problem with it is that he already has actual tights with his little name on them and everything. Does he just wake up one day and say eff this?
That and it's stupid. If you were some street fighter, I think you'd opt for something that offers a little more ease of motion.
But whateve, I'm overthinking. Barrett could pull it off.

Personally the only time jeans should be allowed in wrestling are either when someone is cutting a promo or having a streetfight match. Seeing someone regularly wrestling in jeans reminds too of backyard wrestling.

I'd imagine they'd end up splitting with certain bumps. So yes, I want Wade Barrett in jeans.

You know, sometimes real people that work real jobs make real off the cuff comments that really are not meant to be taken all that seriously? (on the real now) Besides, blue jeans are for working stiffs that just happen to get into impromptu streetfights and we all know that Barrett has fed himself exclusively with bloodsport money since he was twelve or whatever.
