So lately I've been wondering to myself, "Hey self, the midcard is like, really boring!"
So, in order to alleviate the tedium, I've come up with,The Freakin Awesome WWE Championship!
The rules are simple.
1. The inaugural winner will be the winner of the advertised match (think how Sheamus/Punk was advertised.) for WWE Main Event, in 2 weeks (The November 7th show).
2. To avoid confusion, the title is only on the line in singles matches.
3. The title can only change hands by pinfall or submission, unless the match stipulation says otherwise.
4. If the current Freakin Awesome WWE Champion loses, but it is to a champion, the title will not change hands. (Example: If Dolph Ziggler is the Champion, but he loses to Kofi Kingston, the title will not change hands because Kofi is the current Intercontinental Champion)
5. If the current champion does not defend in 30 days, is hit with a wellness suspension or goes off to shoot a movie, the title will be vacated and awarded to the winner of the next advertised match on Main Event.
6. Title defenses will be contested on Raw, SmackDown, Main Event, Superstars, Saturday Morning Slam and PPVS.
Overall, have fun with this idea! I hope you guys like it.
