That grotesquely overrated defense that just sacked Superman Cam 7 times? That one? Our defense has never been much to write home about, which is the main reason I don't see how they can be overrated, they're hardly ever rated in the first place, but this season they're kicking ass. Due in no small part to Del Rio - but this defense is for real. This year, anyway - we'll see what happens in the next couple years when we cut Del Rio loose and get back to square one like we like to do with DCs. This is all true, the Bronco defense may actually be underrated this year. They're sixth in yards allowed and tenth in points allowed, while having some of the worst luck in recovering fumbles. They're not the best, but they're much better than they're given credit for. And Von Miller is something special. You two do know that the Denver defense got beaten by the Patriots and the only reason they were even close in that game was because of Peyton Manning.

They're definitely not perfect, but they're better than given credit for - especially in the San Diego game. Everybody chalked it up to the Chargers completely melting down, but while that's true - our defense played lights out that second half.

Again, the Patriots are the best offense in the league. I didn't say the Broncos were the 49ers, but everyone is acting like its the same defense from last year.

The defense from last year wasn't terrible either. It greatly improved as the season went on. It wasn't great, but it was serviceable and helped keep them in games. They've kept it up this season.
The Pats have a grotesque defense. The Broncos don't.

It benefitted greatly from the pseudo-option offense they adopted with Tebow. With a standard offense, that defense would've been below average.

A Cowboys team source tells beat writer Clarence Hill not to "count on" DeMarco Murray (foot) for a Week 11 return.

But the Broncos still arent able to combat Tom Brady and the Pats defense seem to be okay when dealing with Peyton Manning and the Broncos offensive line for that matter.

I also think the Broncos defense is fairly underrated. They're no Niners or Seahawks, but they're certainly no Saints or Jaguars. And they've only been getting better, along with the Broncos as a whole, as the season progresses.

It benefitted greatly from the pseudo-option offense they adopted with Tebow. With a standard offense, that defense would've been below average. They were hurt by the lockout a lot more than they were helped by Tebow. Defenses need the time to gel, and we saw that best last year when so many qb's put up gaudy numbers early in the season, but couldn't maintain them as the season went on. The Denver defense improved over time, exactly like you'd expect a defense too. The defense from last year wasn't terrible either. It greatly improved as the season went on. But the Broncos still arent able to combat Tom Brady and the Pats defense seem to be okay when dealing with Peyton Manning and the Broncos offensive line for that matter. He threw 3 TD's and no INT's, and they gave up nearly 400 yards. The TO's were really the only thing they did right in that game. They didn't deal with him as much as their offense just outshot the Broncos offense. Denver killed themselves being unable to hang onto the ball, whichis as much on Denver's offense (Manning included in this game) than the Pats.

Yeah, the defense has only been getting better as they learn Del Rio's system and get players back from suspension. We get DJ back this week, Tracy should be back in a week or two and his time off has brought out some greatness in the others and our special teams if finally showing up.

It's amazing we still have a lead.
We'll blow it, but it is a sight to see.

That was a hell of a catch in great coverage. I got a feeling those 10 points are the only points we're going to score.

IDK, sounded almost like Lady Antebellum to me - wish I would've caught who it was, too. I believe it was Eden's Edge. Def not Lady A. Steelers were told to keep the Chiefs in the game so it looked like an interesting match up. Even the Steelers can't possibly play that bad for the entire game. Wallace tried to bobble that ball enough... even have people swearing at the officials (since when is that a penalty?)
