If The Rock was to beat Cena at this coming Wrestlemania, do you think he would have the greatest showing of wins of any wrestler at Wrestlemania?
A clean victory over the biggest name of the 80's (hell, and he was pretty huge in the 90's and 02/03 as well) Hulk Hogan.
A clean win over the man who revolutionized the wrestling business in the 90's, Stone Cold. Even if it took him three attempts.
If he added to that list, John Cena, a man who is as equally hated as he is loved but has undoubtedly been the most popular wrestler of the last 6/7 years, then that would be incredible.
In kayfabe it would make Rock the toughest superstar out of all the big names wouldnt it?

If The Rock was to beat Cena at this coming Wrestlemania, do you think he would have the greatest showing of wins of any wrestler at Wrestlemania? Do you mean for this year's Mania? Or out of all the Mania's. Also, this year's Mania has only one match on the card at the moment. So all of the other known competitors for the entire card is John Cena. And, if you're asking if the Rock has a better overall resume than Cena, then yes, he does.

I would think he would have to be in the top 3 at least.

I never thought about that, but he would have beaten the last three Top Guys at Wretlemania if he beats Cena. Crazy.

It would make Rock the "most powerful" of the top guys in the eras that's for sure. I mean Hogan and Austin are strong but the Rock beat them and sure it can be debated given their conditions but I'd say the most important factor in this is Cena. If a Rock who came out of hiatus for that many years beats John Cena, a guy who's constantly wrestling and the top guy who's feats can rival any top guy, then yeah he'd be the "strongest". I mean that's ridiculous. It's like anime-scaling.

Plus he beat the Sultan and Ken Shamrock.
And in the end, isn't that what all true superstars strive for?

As much as I want him to... I don't think Rock is winning this.

It would make Rock the guy with the biggest wins out of everyone who's performed at Wrestlemania. Which provides the perfect setup for Shawn Michaels to come out of retirement to prove who the real "Mr. Wrestlemania" is at WM 29.
Not that it'll ever happen, and not that I necessarily want Shawn to go back on what thus far has been the most honest retirement in wrestling, but god DAMN it would be awesome.

I want Rock to win so bad. But I really don't have a lot faith in the company to give us that.
It will just be the tired old Cena show all over again.

Unless a Rock win is immediately followed by Cena beating him to a bloody pulp, then it'd really do nothing but make the rest of the roster look bad.

I like Rock, but it would be complete bullshit if he won that match. It's not right for business.

I don't get the arguement of Rock winning makes the rest of the roster look bad when Cena has already done this for the past however many years.
Cena can and will survive one loss to The Rock at mania in The Rocks hometown.

Cena will do to Rock what Rock did to Hogan at Wrestlemania.
