some guys where pretty close Particularly Guest_Frankie Williams_* referencing Cena and Orton as the future. I don't think that was super-obvious in 2002. That guy definitely deserves a prize or something.

I liked the guy who said UFC would be number 1.

PW Illustrated predicted similar would happen to him back in 2006.

That was mostly petty bitching and arguing. About whether Steve Austin in WWE is the same thing as Steve Austin in WCW Anyway the guy that said that WWE would pretty much scrap all the PPV names save for the Big Four was a genius or extremely lucky (unless I'm missing something about WWE wanting to move away from the PPV names they had in 02). Also, it's crazy to think that some of the posters were more into Cole as an announcer than JR, if only they knew how things would turn out.

To be fair, 2002-2004 was Cole at a career-best and JR at a career worst. Give most commentary career trajectories, it's not that dire of a projection. Summer 2003 Raw commentary made an often poor show that much worse.

At that point in time, Cole/Tazz were definitely a rocketbuster team. Cole would throw softballs, but Tazz would hit them out of the park with his own analysis. Enthusiasm all the way around works.
