Other than liking little jimmy, attacking heels, and playing to the crowd how is Face Truth different? Umm....other than in smark world where we think attacking people violently is heelish (in kayfabe it matters only whom you attack), it is clear this is a different R-Truth. If were a fan of the guy that gave the brilliant promo after knocking out JoMo and puffing on a cig, then I don't see how turning him face is something you are excited about and I am perplexed you don't see a difference. Heel Truth might go to the ME and challenge guys like Cena. Face Truth will shuck and jive for little jimmy and be right back where he was before his brilliant turn. Right. The guy that became interesting by saying "screw you people, I'm tired of dancing and rapping for you" is now catering to Little Jimmy, beating up their least favorite wrestlers and letting them have the mic to say something kewl on TV. I just don't like seeing things twisted in another direction like that, it's like stores selling "Punk Rock" jeans that are already torn up and safety pinned back together for $60. What's less punk rock than that?

It was interesting. I don't think crazy face R-Truth will be as good as crazy heel R-Truth but we shall see.

I don't remember his turn being anything special at all, just awkward and drawn out. I'd argue he wasn't interesting until he started talking about invisible spiders, little Jimmies, and "conspiracies."
He's doing all that now, except now he's beating up Miz. I don't see the issue.
Though, if he does start to come out singing and wiggling around every week again, I will quickly admit I was wrong here.

Little Jimmy even cost him his match for the title against Cena. Now Little Jimmy is cheering him on, supporting him and telling him the former friend who betrayed him needs to get got. I don't know, maybe I'm crazier than R-Truth, but it makes perfect sense to me.

I think this face R-Truth could be good. You have no idea what or where he's going to be or do next. His a human GIF machine.

The Little Jimmy thing is started to slightly wear thin...it's okay to mention it one or two times a night, but anything over that it overkill. But then again, WWE loves to beat their sayings to death.

He's still crazier than a shithouse rat. I fail to see how he has changed all that much.
Or is this just another case of "(Smark favorite heel) turns face!!!! We hate him now!!!"

I don't mind it. The batshit crazy gimmick worked better as a heel thing, but this is still very entertaining. It really helps that Miz is scared of him, as it makes him look legit crazy. When he was a heel, everyone just treated him like a joke. Now, he's kind of reminding me of New Jack, only he can actually work.

I think its too early to tell if this face run will be a success. I just hope they don't have him start rapping again.
Also, to be fair, the "faces suck, heels rule!" mentality doesn't really exist anyway. From what I can tell, the majority loved it when Sheamus turned face for example.

I'm not ready to say I don't like him, but last night just felt weird in that "rebel becomes part of the beast" way. The rebelliousness of Truth's character is a big part of why I like it. Once they start slingin Little Jimmy shirts, that will be done for.

Being cool with Lil Jimmy is one thing but if he likes spiders as well then this angle is DEAD.

Cube made the switch because he knew that, eventually, ganstas have to grow up and have families (or at least kids) and he couldn't do what he did in the N.W.A days. Hell besides Dre's Beats line no one else in the group has had any success remaining street. Bottom line is at some point you have to change due to circumstances. For Truth, we cheer cause he's beating up on Miz, but whats to say that after he's done with Miz the internet darling Daniel Bryant won't be next? Or Even...dare I say it {Spoiler}Zach Ryder?

I don't like it. He's playing to the Little Jimmy crowd that he developed the phrase to mock. He really does not need to be asking Little Jimmy to help him talk crap to mean ol' Miz. I said in the Raw thread Truth was "RUINED FOREVER", somewhat jokingly, but his character sure is going to lose the magic if this keeps up. he didn't develop any phrase. Lil Jimmy screwed him over costing him his world title shot. But he's apoligized obviously

Just sayin'... Also, the Awesome Truth as a tag team sorta failed. So they broke the team up-- traditionally one person becomes the heel and the other is a face. Miz could've gone face tbh, but seeing all the 'Good Li'l Jimmies' signs (ala all the 'Peeps' signs that Christian fans used to have with the arrows pointing down) must've looked like visions of $$$'s in Vince's mind's eye. Then there's also the fact that Miz is putting over Crazy Face Truth like he's a million bucks, hence pushing him even further into the ME than he (barely) was with the Crazy Heel Truth gimmick. Like it or not, the face thing is working.
