With Jericho returning and saying nothing I begin to feel that this WILL be the biggest feud of 2012.
It'd begin with older talent such as the Big Show and Henry interfering in Daniel Bryan and Punk matches, for example. Then they'd make clear their intentions- to prove that the new generation doesn't draw and people only come to see the guys they remember from the Attitude Era and before.
It'll all cumulate at Bragging Rights (with Raw and Smackdown now basically supershows on TV, what use is there for Raw vs. Smackdown?), where the new generation (who are the "faces" in the feud) win.
Anyone else think this'll happen?

I would love a New Blood vs. Millionaires Club angle, but the problem is it's got no ending unless you cull all of your main event established stars.

Probably not, it's a good idea in theory but many crowds will prefer the old guard so it could harm the faces involved in the fued .

I wouldn't like this. Just use the veterans without making it all about their age.

I like the fact that it's New Blood vs Millionaire's Club within reason and Bragging Rights allows for some forced relationships between heels and faces instead of turning people because of their standing and age. Also the "which side is Cena/Orton on?" build-up would be fun.

I thought "Bragging Rights" was done as far as PPVs go....
Would make for an interesting Survivor Series match if they can play the cards right and extend the (possible) feud into the holiday season.

I keep seeing this somehow leading to instances where you have an "establishment" guy point out that he's younger than the "new" guy (ie : Orton younger than Punk, Cena younger than Truth).

I'd be for it if Triple H agrees to stay as far away as possible. I don't think these boards could stand the rage if he entered the feud and beat Cody, Ziggler and Bryan.

I too like the idea. But the point of the angle would need to be to put over the young guys. Be like the Main Event Mafia but more to the point of teaching the young guys respect for the business. Like Booker/Cody feud but on a larger scale

I was for it, until The mentioning of the Millionaires club vs the New Blood feud in this thread. Now, I'm completely against it.

Nothing makes me like a guy less than a promo about "his time", blah blah blah unless he is a douchey heel. I like the idea more of simply using the Booker- Cody feud. Build up Booker and make people think he still can really go, then let Cody win the feud. I really don't want to see an old guys v new guys program. Just get some new guys over.

Not happening. The new guys havent nearly been booked as strong, and the second HHH gets involved this all goes to shit.

No, new vs. old angles simply don't work. Kayfaybe mucks up the whole concept and paints the new guys as entitled losers.
