YET. Why are people acting like this ended tonight? I can't understand it. Because the way WWE has booked these last few years, we've come to expect instant gratification. ...that, or most of the things that the response has been "Dude, wait for it to play out before deciding it sucks!" have...well, sucked. That, and the way I see it, they should always be entertaining. Being boring for a month so you'll eventually, maybe be entertained just doesn't work.

There are actually people on here saying the videos had no good payoff and this sucks, when we've seen the first segment of what is going to be obviously an extended storyline? Unless people actually think Jericho smiling like an ass and running around is all you're getting from him every week, I don't know what to tell you. If you didn't like THIS segment then whatever, but the people already calling this a bust are killing me more than the actual segment did. Oh no, believe me, I'm relieved that there are people who got the segment. It was more of a pleasant surprise than anything. ... How do we know if they "got the segment"? We don't bloody know what direction it's going in yet! Honestly, I love this place, but sometimes when you people pull the "I know what's going on and you don't, listen to me" card it's infuriating.

It's possible to get the point of the segment, and still not give a damn. That's how I feel. The whole thing was just completely uninteresting. I already can't wait until Jericho goes away again. I've got a hunch that you were rooting for Taker to be the returnee tonight.

Hey, I LIKED the Christmas tree jacket.
As well as they way they did a Faceish intro without the countdown, though I'll miss his old Matrixy minitron.

I hope for the next week Jericho can put some short videos of himself on facebook or something just running around slapping hands and WOOing at random party spots...but never doing anything of importance

That was honestly some of the most brilliant heeling I've ever seen. Now Larry Zbyszko is really gonna be pissed at Jericho. He stole his stalling gimmick and made it better!

The Rock returning was instant gratification, and was entertaining (the biggest pop of 2011), and you sure lapped that one up.

Agreed 100% there. Yup. I laughed when I got that he was trolling the crowd, but I can't stand Jericho's trolling on twitter, and I probably won't be able to stand his trolling on my tv. (also, it doesn't help that Raw was uninteresting, too... it gave an underwhelming quality to the entire evening)

In 2012, trolling=the new heel heat. JBL said it best when he said you can't fool the smart fans. You CAN, however, legitimately piss off the smart fans. It's what Cole has been doing, and what Jericho did tonight. Everyone that's pissed off is having the exact reaction that the WWE wants them to. Speaking of which, I love reading people throwing out all these smarky reasons why it's terrible and bad for business when really, they're just being worked like any other fan. Us "smart" fans have gotten too used to knowing what's going on and feeling secure in being smarter than the "marks." Well, they're making us marks again. Dude, you best get your flame shield ready. I hope so. I'm enjoying seeing people all worked up like they're supposed to be.

Lance Storm knew, that bastard. That actually gives away that Jericho isn't just a red herring, and that he's actually coming back. So, thanks Lance!

Don't like Jericho since about 2007 either, your point? Besides, at least I can see why that did entertain some people. This Jericho thing I just loathed.

I think that's a bit of the beauty. Nobody has any f***ing clue what to make of it. It's stupid. It's genius. It makes me want to rub my nipples with a plastic grocery bag. I think reserving my opinion is probably the best idea at this point.
