Just a repost since I got cut off by the lock: People keep taking all of this so literally. Like, it's a girl so it must be a female returning. This is all symbolism. Punk is the girl ... -The fact that one of Jericho's main phrases from his last run has been used repeatedly in the later videos. -"I can not help you anymore" meaning he can't save us from the WWE or ourselves anymore as he'd done so many times before in his mind. Then explain why it's the GIRL saying "I cannot help you anymore." That mean's Punk is saying he can't help Jericho save us? WTFBBQ? !!! ? The girl (CM Punk) is talking to us. She cannot help us anymore. It's up to someone else to help us. To....save us. Save_Us.222. Jericho. Yeah.

I will never understand the Jericho's done it all and shouldn't come back arguments. Cena's done it all, too, if not more. Randy Orton probably has, too. I guess they should quit right now since they've officially expired. I understand if the wrestler is elderly and way past his prime, can barely move, is injury prone, and no longer entertaining, but it's Chris Jericho. Well, I'd agree with the no longer entertaining thing. Though that's mostly because Jericho doesn't seem to know how to do a gimmick for more than three or four months before making you sick to death of it.

It's Scott Steiner.
See normally, there's a fiddy percent chance of it being someone. But Scott Steiner's a genetic freak and NOT NORMAL, so he's got a 141 2/3% chance of appearing tonight. The numbers don't lie, and they spell Scott Steiner on Raw.

For me personally, it's more that he's done it all and he doesn't add a whole lot to the show anymore. Jericho is one of my all time favorites but I've been bored with him for ages now. It's time for the next generation to take their place at the top.

And he has a 66% chance of being the guy. Nobody has better odds. So it has to be HBK.

Hypothetical: what if the final vignette had aired last week as Miz was in the ring and R-Truth beating the holy hell out the Miz was the big reveal? Ho would that have gone over?

It's probably Jericho, but I think when you have to read that much symbolism into it doesn't work for me. I don't understand this statement. Symbolism is something you have to read into. If it comes right out and says what it is, then it's not symbolism anymore. If these videos bluntly declared "it's Jericho" then there's no point and it's not clever whatsoever. The intelligence and mystery lies in that subtlety and symbolism. In this case specifically, the symbolism as its been broken down here, points to Jericho. if you go to far into symbolism and metaphor it all becomes meaningless. You could stretch it any way.

I don't think he has this "problem" with "doing a gimmick for more than three or four months before making you sick to death of it." You don't equal everyone. I get it - you hate him, think he's boring, have somehow decided he's unintelligent, but your negative assessment is just that - YOUR negative assessment. It's not factual, so stop speaking like it is. You get bored. YOU. I don't understand this statement. Symbolism is something you have to read into. This is too far? I think it's normal symbolism. God, I can't wait for this to be over so we can get to complaining about whatever it is he's daring to do that's offending us this time before exhausting ourselves and moving on to the next irritant.

I'm expecting a Jericho vs. Taker feud, culminating in a WM match I'd love that. For the second year running it turns out to be Taker, only for Jericho to interupt him before he can even talk.

also, a wrestlezone forum member sez:
"MVP's the guy from the It Begins promos!! Notice how the one video said "He Is Coming"? Well, MVP's walkout music is "I'm Coming"!!
Not only that, he has a good relationship with John Laurinatis, so of course that's who Laurinatis has been texting. WOW, IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!!!! "

I understand if the wrestler is elderly and way past his prime, can barely move, is injury prone, and no longer entertaining, but it's Chris Jericho. Exactly. The guy came back in 2007 in his mid-30's and was better than he was in his 20's. Jericho gets better with age, and considering the fact that he's only 40, he's still got a few good years left considering how healthy he's always been in his career.
