Hopefully it was a one off, I was sick of Jericho after about 3 minutes tonight. I have a feeling that was the intent Probably, but for me it wasn't a good thing. It was more of a I hope that you go away forever thing.

Can someone summarize what happened? Jericho came out, smiled, slapped hands with the crowd, teased doing a promo, lead the crowd in a "Do-Re-Me" cheer, teased doing a promo again, got out the ring and slapped hands again, and then left.

I get the intent and have a thought about where this goes,That being said I still feel like the debut was a bit early somehow,Like it wasn't supposed to go on quite as long as it did.

The amount of screaming that happened in my house when he appeared was pretty impressive, if I say so myself. We terrified our poor pets, haha. Anyway, though, I am so excited. Can't wait to see what he does!

Of course the crowd wasn't going to give you the pop to end all pops, Chris. They all knew it was you. Be happy with the solid reaction you did get. He started getting boo's from a crowd that was very happy to see him. I don't know if that was the point but I can't see how casual viewers would have stuck with it.

Can someone summarize what happened? Jericho came out with this super huge grin and spent 3-4 minutes running around, really over the top pandering to the fans. "YAAAAAAAAY" "MEEEEEEEEE" "HEEEEEEEEEY' "COME OOOOOOON" all with a giant !!!!!! on his face the entire time. He finally went to the ramp and left after people started booing him, which was the entire point in the first place. This angle is going to be awesome. If you remember Jericho on Nitro during his face run, that was what he was doing. I mean, to a tee.

I have no idea what the hell that was, but I'm interested! It's Jericho, I'm sure he'll make it work, and it will be great.

I'm intrigued, though the question that should be asked is am I intrigued enough to spend money? Um...no, not in the least. Yes it was a cool way to come back in that it left questions unanswered, but...yeah. Theres 3 weeks between now and the next show they want you to buy. The intent of that segment wasnt to sell anything, it was to begin the build to whatever they'll eventually try to sell you.

I thought that was freaking epic. Just to play around with the whole medium like that. Now its a excellent and intriguing first step BUT it has to go somewhere, and Jericho is a guy I trust to do good things with it. But if its not followed up well it could come crashing down.

I don't get how this was awesome, the hype videos had a terrible payoff, so maybe some fans laugh at this, but at the same time lots of fans will hate to see how this turned out, is almost like the gobledy gooker in some way
Also, the idea of a heel is not to make people sick of him to just see him go, the idea is to hate him
Even though delusional face could be a great idea, but the segment was boring as f***

It totally fits in line with what Jericho has always said about his heel-ery.

If you follow WWE on Twitter, they are playing up the Jericho trolling people thing.

Between this and his actions on Twitter, I feel like Jericho is really blurring the lines of what we've come to expect from a heel.
Which really does fit in with what he said back during the SRS phase about having to change parts of his act because they were getting too over.
Now he's just become slightly less subtle. I wouldn't be surprised if he's been reading up on what fans have been expecting out of his return, just to completely piss people off by going seemingly counter to every damn thing in the promo videos, besides the Tweets.
Heats is Heats.

All Jericho needed was the troll face. He was completely trolling everyone.

That was a very Andy Kaufman-esque return.
