Basic Thuganomics and it's not even close. If and when he turns heel, he should go back to that theme.

Basic Thuganomics is one of my favorite themes ever and I don't even like rap.

Better question'd be why hasn't his current theme changed since debuting. I think "Basic Thuganomics" was a fine theme. I also think his character back then was better, but that's neither here nor there.

"Basic Thuganomics" was produced by 7L.
"My Time is Now" was produced by Jake One.
It's interesting that the WWE had two of the biggest names in their eras of indie hip-hop to produce themes for them outside of the James A. Johnson comfort zone. I'm sure 7L's primary rap partner Esoteric being John Cena's cousin might have been a foot in the door, but the Jake One association is an interesting choice.

Basic Thuganomics by far. Even Cena changing back to that song would help his character.

"New Deadman Inc. and I'm about to make ya famous. Takin' over Earth and still kickin' in Uranus." Those few lines are better than all of his current theme.

"Basic Thuganomics". It had attitude, and when it came on, you knew Cena was pissed and wanted to kick someone's ass. Now he's just a cartoon with "yabba doo" at the beginning of his corny song.

"So, you think you're untouchable?" Still one of my all time favorite themes. I swear to god when that played at Mania 25 for the Cena Clone Army I marked out so hard.

I really think all that cena ever needed was to have basicathuganomics as his theme and the boo's would never have come and the iwc hate would never have come and no one would have cared he was super cena.

Basic Thuganomics was amazing as a theme and as a song. Cena could really go.

I was on here when this happened, the board went apes*** and I even started marking. Basic Thuganomics is honestly one of the best themes of all time, in my opinion.

Anything besides the current theme which sampled from Ante Up without asking.
