So basically I purchased my WrestleMania XXVIII ticket back in November, planning to make hotel plans and everything later, and then just plain forgot about it. So I'm trying to make them now but basically I'm having some difficulties. Despite never having been to Atlanta before, I was still somewhat familiar with it and able to make plans without a problem, but I don't know anything about Miami at all. I was hoping maybe some of the locals or other WM-goers might be able to help me with my hotel. Here's what I'm hoping for -
- It looks like staying near the actual Sun Life Stadium would be unrealistic. I'm also looking to attend an Axxess session and the Hall of Fame ceremony, so something nearby them would be good. - I'm looking to spend about $150 a night on a room, it must have high speed internet. - I'm coming in via train so something that isn't too difficult to get to and from the Amtrak station would be appreciated. - I'm not looking to rent a car so something with decent access to mass transit would also be appreciated. - I like to get out and explore cities I've never been to before (shopping, places to eat, etc.), so preferably something thats not in a neighborhood where I have to worry about barricading myself in my room all day or somewhere so isolated I need to take a 45 minute bus ride to get anywhere interesting.
Anybody have any ideas or help it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd say try to find a place in Fort Lauderdale myself. I'm just driving up from the Keys so I'm not sure about hotel rooms. I was originally going to stay at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino for the night if I WAS going to be able to...but I don't want to make my mom babysit for a night. I don't think it meets your criteria though...it's $199.90 for that night (just checked) and it's not in a great area to travel by foot...but is very close to Sun Life Stadium. Maybe some of the other South Florida locals might be able to give a better idea since I usually choose to spend as little time in Miami as humanly possible.
