Im looking for some great interviews that talk about the business. I like the Jim Cornette shoots seems like a smart guy as well as the Kane interviews. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7m40aW__8icThats a good one .

Behind Closed Doors with Jake Roberts.
The Art of Managing with Gary Hart and Sir Oliver Humperdink, though I can't really recommend it since apparently neither man was ever paid for it. The content is fine, I just take issue with the guys being ripped off.
Some of the Guest Booker DVDs are good even if you don't bother with the booking exercise and just listen to the interview at the beginning. Cornette and Gary Hart come to mind immediately.
As a matter of fact, pretty much any interview with Gary Hart.

Just as well you suggested Gary Hart - Guest Booker with Gary Hart is quite the watch, as he died the day after he recorded it.

Raven has a great mind for the business so you should definitely check out one or two of those. Not sure if you want to check them all out though as it gets to be a bit much with how many he has done.

How many times can you ask the guy about his time in ECW before it gets boring?

The first Scott Hall RF shoot is awesome. The second one he sounds all messed up. The Outsiders RF one is incredible too.
Any Hall and Nash interview where theyre sober is phenomenal.

Just as well you suggested Gary Hart - Guest Booker with Gary Hart is quite the watch, as he died the day after he recorded it. I actually asked Sean Oliver about that during one of his interviews on In Your Head wrestling radio. It really seemed like it affected him. I saw that someone mentioned the Cornette/Percy Pringle shoot. I'll second that, and I'm surprised that I forgot to mention it in the first place. I enjoyed all 3 of the Cornette/Heenan shoots that ROH released. One of them has a Secrets of the Ring with Heenan tagged onto the end.

Punk and Joe's ROH shoot is fantastic.
Kevin Steen's SMV shoot was pretty good too.
Also, New Jack may be a reprehensible human being but his shoots are entertaining as all hell.

Kevin Nash is always a good listen Just saw his timeline dvd and like his 2007 shoot, it didn't disappoint. Spent roughly 3 hours 15 minutes talking about WWF in 1995. I'd still recommend getting this, even if you've seen his first shoot as it covered stuff that wasn't discussed on his first shoot. Told some entertaining Dean Douglas, Sunny, Yokozuna stories.

Straight Shootin' with Brad Armstrong might be my all time favorite. It's like hears somebody's cool dad tell you about the entire existence of WCW first hand.
The Konnan shoot that Jim Cornette hosted is great too as you can tell Cornette doesn't know much about lucha culture and his eagerness to learn results in an absurdly entertaining and informative conversation.

The first Scott Hall shoot was good, but not as amazing as many proclaim it to be. There something about the interviewer I didn't like as it seemed that they glossed over feuds/matches of his career. Then again, not every wrestler can be as insightful as Kevin Nash and Raven. Sean Oliver could of conducted a better shoot with the guy.

Thus I said Kevin Nash is always a good listen. Is one with Scott Hudson after leaving WWE in 04 (?), his RF video one, his one with X-Pac, the Outsiders, ect. All good. He is very intelligent, and in how he explains his approach, it's hard to hate the guy. Hall's first one was decent. He talked a bit more in detail about his early career, but yeah he really doesn't talk much about his WWF or WCW run. Talks about how he got the Razor gimmick (quoting Scarface, and Vince never hearing of the movie so he thought Hall was a genius coming up with everything on the fly) and he talks a bit about the nWo beginning but not much else. Though that was probably the last time Hall wasn't completely off the wagon. Team 3d's shoot is okay. It's great listening to them talk about the ECW days, but they don't really have much to saw about the WWF/WWE. Val Venis is another guy. Talking about getting to the WWF was interesting but then it gets boring (though a good story is Al Snow putting Val's cell phone number down for fans to call if they knew where Pepper was) Hurricane's shoot that just came out was awesome. I recommended it highly during the summer. Another dude that just has a great head on his shoulders and owns up to his mistakes. The New Age Outlaws also have a new one... it's not bad... but literally about half of it is them just talking about how bad their drug problems were. X-Pac's Youshoot is fairly entertaining. Konnan's new RF shoot is good. Though it's kind of distracting how badly he's aged

Konnan's new RF shoot is good. Though it's kind of distracting how badly he's aged I was referring to his RF one on 2007. Who knows, maybe Scott Hall had a bad memory due to his drug problems and couldn't recite portions of his career. Raven was the same way as he had a better recollection of his Portland & ECW days then his later WCW stint from being an alcoholic in the late 90's. I wished they would of talked about the guys that had it in for Scott Hall since he was such a heat magnet. I too found the Val Venis one to be rather boring as you would think a guy with a porn star gimmick would be more interesting.

You mean when he slapped him after that 3 man match from November to Remember?
Wonder why RVD did that, especially to a guy of Taz's stature. Sabu didn't want to comment on that incident in his shoot and Danny Doring saw the incident and didn't know why he did it.
