Although, if you look at the Chikara thread, you'll see why I don't think the Batiri will be involved.

Also, to note, this incarnation of the BDK is Ares, Tursas and Milo Shizo, who was a ROH student who emulated Delirious, like Frightmare to Hallowicked.

I'm guessing there was more to it, but it would be hilarious if Wrestling is Cool had to close just because the ring announcer got beat up.

From a very helpful person at 101:

This isn't exactly how it actually went down. Turns out Milo Shizo was the owner(or "head honcho" as he was introduced earlier) of Wrestling Is Cool. He'd come out earlier in the show and told Gavin to cancel intermission because they were running short on time(considering belltime got started over a half hour late due to the weather, this seemed logical enough at the time) So at the end of the last match, he came back out, wearing all white, and demanding the mic. The lights never went out, but the power to the music and the mic had been cut. He spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. He fired The Colony, and then told Gavin he was the worst ring announcer he'd ever heard, and laid him out with a clothesline. Then he did the BDK salute and said "this time, no one will stop us". Two other men appeared in the doorway. One wearing the hood that Ares used to wear before the reveal, and the other was Tursas' size but had a completely different mask. We never saw either's face. The three of them left, and the locker room emptied to help Gavin up. Jervis said something like "gentlemen, this has happened one too many times." and seemed to be rallying the rest of the wrestlers. They helped Gavin up and carried him out and the staff began shutting down and cleaning up and we all left.

Now the next question(I have questions every time this happens, don't I?) is Jervis Cottonbelly. As pointed out, each time a company was taken down, he was on the show. From what I've seen of Chikara/Quack's booking, nothing happens for no reason. Especially with him being the one to start rallying the troops. So, what role does Jervis serve in the long-term?

Also, anyone thinking next month, the wrestlers fight back for the first time, but still get overpowered by the Rudos of the Month? Because after four takedowns, if they're not ready for something, then they'll look really dumb.

Someone pointed out the destruction of the Wrestling Is companies is rather similar to Crisis on Infinite Earths. All these rudo groups serve as the Anti-Monitor and Jervis seems to be the Pariah figure in this. With what he said about this today, he's going to be the guy to rally the troops.

And also, the wrestlers did fight back on Wrestling is Awesome, but Dr. Cube's goons intercepted them when they came out from the back. Granted, Art and Cool were destroyed by it's owners, so what could anyone really do? But yeah, you'd think someone on a social media website would notice all these threats.

Believe Respect gets taken out 1/19, they announce at NPWD that Fun is the next to go, and Fun is when we get the showdown. As far as Heart is concerned, I think they won't touch it and it'll come down to Kingston joining CHIKARA again after being mistreated for not taking out Heart when he was supposed to back in October.

So, as it turns out, that large man in white with the Viking-horned mask was NOT Tursas, but rather, a new character called "Nøkken". Similar to Tursas being a Finnish sea monster, Nokken is a evil Norwegian water spirit:

Interesting to note that the creature is a shapeshifter. Which means:
**1. He'll change forms every now and again, which could be humorous if one show it's Eddie Kingston, then Sugar Dunkerton, then Heidi Lovelace, and the like.
**2. He's just a replacement for Tursas and is played by Max Smashmaster, Oleg the Usurper or some other big guy in a mask.

So, here's a thought. Maybe everyone at the Fun show is ready for an invasion, but get swerved and instead they hit the Respect show? Just seems weird they'd go after Fun first, especially since the pattern has been hitting the Sunday shows, not the Saturday shows.

I was thinking Ares and Sinn Bodhi would go for Respect, but since they haven't said anything, so maybe you're right. Plus, GEKIDO and Dr. Cube didn't outright threaten Fun like they did in the past, merely said words like "the fun begins".
