Almost completely unrelated to recent discussion, but I have the idea of altering the Roster page by grouping everyone together and foregoing Face/Heel/Tweener distinctions. There seems to be a bit of confusion in spite of the chart's attempt to clear it up so I think in some way maybe it's best not to force things and just let members cheer for who they want to cheer for - you know, like smarks.
It doesn't change the fact that almost every match still has something of a face/heel dynamic in the psychology, even if both contestants are the same alignment.
Just a thought...

I like that plan, BRB. Honestly I feel like even though Enigma is classified as a heel, Gus has definitely acted like more of a heel than Enigma did at times. I think it would be better if we just got rid of the distinctions because I think I could probably classify 90 percent of our roster as a tweener anyways.

I like the idea too. On another topic, I find that having BRB write the match finish makes it easier for me to write the match itself, but I can see where Gus was coming from when he said that it restricted how creative you could get. So my suggestion for the future is this: BRB writes the finish except when both people in the match have agreed to a certain finish, or rather finishes (having discussed ending it one way or one of them won and another way if the other won) and would prefer that to whatever BRB might write.

I understand that writers take pride in their craft. I know I do. I concocted the policy based on a service Amigo once provided in which he wrote entrances for any writer who asked. I'm quite sure I'm the only writer who took him up on his offer and it saved me creative energy every time. I simply took it to the next level. That's what it is about though: it is about providing a destination so that the writer can provide the journey. Wise man say creativity is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza. Or somethinglike that.
Anyways, as I do include the clause that my material may be modified or scrapped altogether, I somewhat already accounted for your suggestion. I will also offer this: those involved, if they have a planned finish, can tell me it so I can write that finish for them. That way, the writer gets the result and the intended finish is already there. It's all about economy in the end.
Speaking of which, how are the matches coming along?

Speaking of which, how are the matches coming along? Bull Ant/Connor is about a third done at this point, not counting commentary.

Viva/Flynn should be in tonight but I'm still waiting on the part you had pm'd me about earlier. Not sure how that was coming along.

Sorry I didn't get the match sent sooner, but I'm just finishing it up now, and ought to have it sent soon.
EDIT: And now it's in your inbox, BRB.

Time may still be on your side. I take it there's been a delay in responses...

A word, if I may.....this goes out to everyone in general terms.
My Fellow FAWA-ites, promos are NOT single person affairs. Promos, like conversations are like a game of Tennis. One person lobs the ball to you...and then you return it back. There should be a back and forth unless there is a SPECIFIC reason why there shouldn't be (Which should be obvious and situational).
I mention this because, well, over my tenure in this E-Fed too many times I've been playing Squash instead of Tennis. Seriously look over the ENTIRE tenure of Mulligan/Demento/BA/LBA......
There are at LEAST 4 separate feuds where I was the only one promoing in the thread, Many of which simply disappeared from the WWCF/FAWA entirely.
I'm not angry or bitter, Wait...strike that......I am Angry.
The more I dwell on it...the more I'm wondering.....Is it worth it to put my All into a promo?
To know that in all honesty, The effort I put in may not matter to the end result......

I think it you work something out with someone beforehand - have a big picture - they might commit to it better. Alternatively, maybe try to feud with someone who has been around a long time and shows no signs of leaving. I.e. someone reliable and consistent.

To know that in all honesty, The effort I put in may not matter to the end result...... I agree with you, Dan, and I do try to respond to people in the promo thread. If we end up feuding at any point (and it wouldn't necessarily be with Ryan Blood, as I've been kicking around the idea of creating another character eventually, maybe, perhaps) I'd do that. The times when I've cut a promo and haven't gotten a response, I usually think "Okay, that means I'm probably going to win the voting." And if I didn't for whatever reason, it wouldn't sit well with me. So if you're angry I don't blame you. There is one thing I'd like to add, though. Just like a game of tennis, a promo exchange has to end eventually, because you can have too much of a good thing. Seth and Gus are both very good at promos, but if I'm gonna be honest: I was watching them go back and forth in the promo thread with the "I'm exercising my rematch clause and here's why you suck" "No you aren't, and here's why YOU suck" "Yes I am, and..." See what I mean? Gus and Seth both realized that it was getting ridiculous. But that wasn't the first time something like that happened. I feel that at a certain point, if both of you have said everything there is to say, the exchange should end. Which is why I vote primarily based on the quality of a person's promos as opposed to the quantity. Which isn't to say quantity doesn't matter to me; if somebody doesn't write any promo at all when they have a match coming up, I'll give them a low score. But if they write one good promo leading up to their match, then I'll give them a high score. If they wrote five good promos leading up to their match, I'd give them the same score as if they wrote just one. And if they wrote ten...well, good promos or not, ten is pushing it, IMHO.
