For a while, I was in Camp Bully Ray, but now I think he can wait a bit longer. I think Christopher Daniels is perfect to be the next TNA World Champion. He's a great wrestler and he's entertaining as all hell. Now that he's defeated AJ Styles forever, he's in a great spot to move up and challenge for the world title. I think he would make perfect foil for Jeff Hardy, and a Hardy/Daniels feud would be really interesting. There's plenty potential for great matches. What say you guys? Do you agree?

Definitely. At the least he should work the next program with Hardy.

At the very least, a four way with Roode, Storm, and Daniels would be great with all the interlocking rivalries and Fortune baggage between the challengers.

He would just have a Aries reign until Hardy won it again.

Much as I love Bad Influence, after Daniels' pre-match promo - "It's not hyperbole, it's fact" he cemented himself as ready for the world title in my eyes. Even the (unusually responsive) Impact Zone live crowd went silent to hear what he had to say. And the fact that we may get a slow burning Kaz push as well is just the ice in the Appletini

No.
Christopher Daniels whilst being incredibly talented ring wise isn't marketable looks wise not to mention the dude is in his 40's.
I'd be open to a Hardy feud but Daniels should not win the TNA Title, ever.

I am someone who thinks too many people get to be World Champions these days. That said, I think it would be a shame if Daniels retired without winning either than ROH or TNA World Championship. He helped build both companies. I hope it happens.

Should be.
Won't happen, though, because people in the company agree with what notasmark (LOL) said.

I still think the idea of AJ Styles winning the BFG Series to face Christopher Daniels for the title would be the greatest thing in the world. With Daniels taunting AJ after he wins it at let's say Lockdown. It would be booking at it's finest.

Would love that just imagine the promo he would give if he won the title.

The story would be great and an example of long-term build at its finest, but does TNA really have any intention of main eventing BFG with Styles/Daniels in 2013? I would find that very hard to believe. Styles/Aries, on the other hand, is something they haven't done yet (purposely?). That would at least be more realistic as far as what TNA would put out as the main event.

Definitely. At the least he should work the next program with Hardy. It's very likely that Daniels will be the next opponent for Hardy. I mean, there's no one else to challenge Hardy, except maybe Storm, but I somehow think he will lose a #1 contender's match to Daniels. Roode is probably busy with Aces & 8s, so Daniels will probably have a shot at the title. {Spoiler}Hardy wins.

As a long standing fan of the old school TNA guys, YES. Storm, Roode, Aries, AJ, Daniels, Kazarian, Joe, and to a lesser extent, EY and Hernandez, plus what Abyss/Joe Park has been up to this year, all pretty much featured players. Plus, Bully, Devon, Angle, Anderson, Morgan, even Sting, guys who may have gotten famous elsewhere but have become entrenched as "TNA guys" now. There are far less "OMG that's blah blah from WWE" guys on the roster now than there have been in a long time, and I like that. Daniels has been one of the cornerstones of the company for the entire decade, and seeing him with a world title run would warm the cockles of my heart.

A lot of fans will be in the street doing the Gangnam Style dance in their Zubas pants, drinking their appletinis if Daniels won the title. I know I would.

I like the idea, not just as a fan of his work as long as I've been watching. Like Kane, Mark Henry, Big Show and some others, it's apparent that some people bloom late. He seems to be in the midst of a high point in his career, I'd like to see what he can really do. Especially if that is as TNA's top guy.
