Buff Bagwell get plenty of hate, but I have a soft spot for the guy. Here's why:
1. I remember him as Matcus Bagwell, the great tag team wrestler on teams like American Males and Stars & Stripes 2. The "Buff" gimmick was fun at first, until he became a glorified cheerleader for Scott Steiner/the NWO. He was a great cheeleader though. 3. Sure he bombed in WWE, but they booked him like he was a WCW a main eventer, which he wasn't. I've always thought he deserved another chance, but perhaps his own ego got in the way.

So I guess he just didn't talk to Buff at all after Buff broke his neck live on Thunder, then?
...Or before, for that matter?

He used a system of morse code, using a mirror and some string. I think perhaps Buff is trying to raise is stock on the indies by feigning some TNA interest.

Still, if Bischoff stopped talking to Bagwell in 1997, it might explain how he was able to come out in blackface that one time. Whoa whoa whoa, what?? Please someone explain this to me. I've never heard of this but idk whether to laugh or not at the prospect of Buff Bagwell in blackface with that giant hat with his picture on it....

Thinking back, it would have been epic if his picture on the hat was in blackface too.

I guess the hotlinked image doesn't work anymore, but in 1999 when Buff was feuding with Ernest "The Cat" Miller, Buff came out dressed like him in complete blackface. Even as a kid who had no knowledge of the racial history behind it, I thought "I somehow think this is wrong".

Yes, let's sign the guy who has had drug issues and is now imagining conversations/ lieing. ...This sentence, word for word, desrcibes the current TNA champion. ....and his brother.

Buff Bagwell did provide one great moment in wrestling history.
Punching what he thought was a fake Sting....then turning around, smiling and posing, looking very pleased with himself.
Only for fake Sting to actually be real Sting, who then killed Buff Bagwell with a brutal Scorpion Death Drop

I want Bagwell back as the broken down, old humbled douche trying to make one last go of things. Though I would prefer it being WWE, simply for JBL's commentary. Bagwell-"I know I've made mistakes, but if you fans can just find it in your hearts to give me one more chance..." JBL-"I can't take it, Josh. I'm going in there..." Josh-"JBL, no! He's been through enough!"
