Yeah, I think if we go for a lynch Day One, we will probably lynch a townie. That's just how it usually goes, because town has no evidence and mafia isn't going to let their buddy get lynched 99% of the time. But it does definitely help give us something to examine during future day phases, and examine who voted and who didn't. So yeah, I believe lynching is the way to go. yeah, but lynching Lodi day one in the last two games was quite the aberration wouldn't you say? |

Agreed. A day without a lynch is a day wasted, especially in these larger games. The Mafia is bound to be much bigger than your typical one, and that's not accounting for possible third parties.
We need to go ahead and hit them as soon as possible. Today is our only opportunity to do so without them being able to use their various abilities on us, with a few exceptions. Let's take full advantage of that opportunity while we can.

I don't think its out of line for me to answer since its info about another mafia game and not this one Lodi was the Godfather in WWF '88 Mafia and Music Mafia and he was first lynched in both games. Everyone, you'll have to excuse me if I'm not all that active this first day phase. I have my last first semester law school final on Thursday, so I'll be studying hard. Rest assured, I'll be glancing in and keeping track, but don't expect much on day 1.
Plus, in the endgame it really is the least important day phase. It's only a success in vote pattern if we lynch mafia on day 1, as the wide majority of us are town it's very probable to see a silent bandwagoning effort by scum. Here's hoping we're lucky enough to lynch scum on another day 1!

For the record, I've always loved Day 1 voting reasoning. "You looked at me funny", "You have a shih tzu", "I have daddy issues and you remind me of him so I'm taking it out on you."
I've pretty much always saw it as a necessary evil. I'd rather try than be a sitting duck.
