John Cena at Extreme Rules.
The story was so great that I stopped caring about the future storylines because Cena winning that match told a much better story for that particular match. I mean he got CHICAGO to rally behind him, that's pretty damn big.

Anytime Kofi Kingston wrestles I really want his opponent to win whoever that may be.
I can't stand him and want him to get sent back to jobberville again. He sucks and it's a crime that Barrett seems to be becoming Kofi's personal jobber.

Anyone going against Matt Hardy.
I have a glandular condition that requires me to see Matt Hardy lose as much as possible.

I remember really, really wanting Christian to win MITB in 2009 or 2010, and then especially at Extreme Rules 2011 against ADR.

When Jeff Hardy faced Taker in that ladder match in 2002. That was the match that got me into wrestling and I badly wanted Hardy to win.

I really, really wanted Cena to win at Wrestlemania 28. Unfortunately WWE booked backwards and had The Rock win. Except they didnt book backwards. Having a star from a previous era beat a star from the modern era is essentially booking backwards. If Hogan beat Rock it would have be the same thing. It didn't make sense at all, and I'll never get it. WWE is basically saying that even though John Cena is the top face of the company, he still can't beat a guy who hasn't wrestled in 8 years. I don't care if it is The Rock, it still doesn't make sense. It's like if Rock beat Lesnar, Hogan beat Rock, Angle beat Lesnar, Shawn Michaels beating Stone Cold, Andre beating Hogan. Instead of booking towards the future and having their top face get unarguably his biggest win in his career, they booked him to look weaker to a wrestler who's not even on the main roster! Not to mention he hasn't had a one-on-one match in 8 years. This is a guy they built up to look like f***in' Superman. He won every feud he has been in, beaten Triple H, HBK, Angle, Jericho, Edge, JBL, Big Show, Kane. He's beaten everybody who's a main eventer besides Undertaker. Hell, he even beat Brock Lesnar. They booked him as the quid-essential top face, and even when he's been booed out of the building they kept him the top guy. After all those years of booking John Cena to be the "best" in the company, they completely throw it all away for a movie star, a former wrestler. It's complete nonsense and I'll never understand it.

It's complete nonsense and I'll never understand it. It's simple. In fact, if WWE had Cena beat Rock and prove to the world that Rock really didn't have it anymore, that'd have been more backwards than anything else I could think of. John Cena is a full-time guy who can take losses and always be rebuilt at the very next pay-per-view. It didn't mean much for WWE to have him lose at WrestleMania. But since WWE is going to use The Rock to sell pay-per-views in the future, it only makes sense to have him win. Unlike Cena and Hulk Hogan in 2002, Rock isn't around every week. Wins and losses mean more for him. So to maximize his drawing potential, he gets the big win over Cena to prove that he's just as good now as he used to be. That way fans will know that Rock has a chance whenever he's used in the future. It shows that he's not going to lose every match he's involved in. This is WWE booking for the future, just like you wanted. If Rock was going to leave, you'd have a point, but since he wasn't, he got to win at WM28. Cena can always get his win back over Rock later.

I don't think losing to Rock hurt Cena at all- in fact they booked it just right so that he didn't look as if he couldn't hang with Rocky. He got too cute, and he logically paid for it.
Me, I was rooting for Cena- not because I had anything against Rock, but for me he just picked the wrong guy to feud with. Had it been Rock vs. anybody else, I'd be all about Boots 2 Asses (hence why I hope he tears Punk apart at the Rumble, but that's another story). I had just built up too much empathy for Cena over time.
Looking back, it was obvious they weren't gonna job out the hometown guy in a Wrestlemania match that big, especially one revered in Miami the way Dwayne is.
