See, I don't know that going to TNA was safer for him. Sure he wrestles less dates, but it wasn't long after his WWE depature that they adopted a much safer style and I honestly think Vince would have eventually put his foot down and made Kurt slow down, where-as TNA just tell him to keep going. Same has Vince has made Cena take time off, yep. To be honest Cena has taken time off and also has been sitting out of stuff recently. He went away to make movies and other things so yeah Cena isn't untouchable. |

Reduced dates, He's been working reduced dates for 5 years now so obviously his body has had time to rest
I believe he's slowing down on the House Show dates too so he's probably working what? 6-7 matches a month if that? Not bad at all for a middle aged guy (Not as old as people say)

Surely this is a HBK circa 2002 situation whereby the internet invents a reality where things are 50X worse than they are and years later the myth has become fact.
I highly doubt Angle has been on 'last legs' status as the IWC has lead us to believe for each of the last few years. Same as HBK's back was never 'one slam away' from a crippling injury.
Isn't the whole 'how bad is Angle' not just an internet assumption that over the years has become fact? If he was 10% as bad as we have been told there's not a cat in hells chance by now he'd even be able to blink, let alone walk, let alone wrestle.
Maybe all we're constantly being told about how he's a slight breeze away from being completely crippled - isn't true?

Also it's wasn't the net who claimed Michaels back was on its last bumps. WWE was the one who used that narrative to make his comeback more drama filled. Kurt hasn't taken a long break from the ring since he had neck surgery. The longest he's been gone in TNA was 2 months. |
