I don't care what they call any of the moves as long as Bruce Faulconer is composing the music.

Try watching any of the memorial scenes without his score on Kai (Vegeta turning SSJ, Final Flash, Gohan turning SSJ2, the Kamehameha beam struggle with Cell, anytime Perfect Cell does anything). Not as epic. However, I really dig Yamatoto's score though, songs like "Requiem (To Those Who Meet Their End)" and "Tears of Grief" really do hit you on an emotional level. And yes, I'm well aware of the controversy surrounding his score, but it doesn't make it any less better.

And likewise the lack of the original score was one of the major reasons I could never tolerate the dub back in the day, along with the voices. I find it fascinating how the American DBZ fanbase has developed into sharply defined factions all with their own firmly held preferences, whether its the original version or Ocean Dub or Funi dub or Kai, etc. And now online you have lots of people watching DBZ through the internet show, that aren't fans at all of the franchise proper but still receiving in their own way the same narrative that the rest of us were drawn to for whatever reason.

I HATE the Funi music for the Funimation DVD's, Especially the Ginyu arrival
Ocean
Funi *
*I uploaded this vid just for these sort of moments
As for pronunciation I prefer english as it was the one I grew up with, But I don't mind the Jap pronunciation.
Also I'm not an elitist snob who thinks you're scum for prefering either one (Not saying anyone here is)

Like I've said, they deserve all the praise they have gotten for their work on Kai.

The Super Saiyan 3 theme is the only Faulconer Productions piece I enjoy. The rest of the old FUNI soundtrack is inferior to the original if you ask me.
I second the praise for FUNI's work on Kai. All those years of experience did wonders for the voices.

All those years of experience did wonders for the voices. The ssj1 theme is pretty good as well. Chris Sabat's Vegeta and Piccolo were the biggest improvements. Kai, ESPECIALLY uncut, kicks so much ass, that you'd receive a Zenkai boost after watching it. I completely agree that all of those years of experience really polished the voice work, especially for Vegeta. Check out when Sabat first voiced Vegeta, and it's almost laughable in comparison (not because it's horrible, because it just sounds so rough). However, at that time, I actually like that he sounded like that, because you can tell he was trying to keep a little bit of Drummond's Vegeta intact, while giving his own spin on it, thus it was a nice and easy transition from Drummond to Sabat. I'm part of that camp that thinks the time period for both of Vegeta's voice actors were perfect. I associate Drummond with pre-Android Saga Vegeta, and Sabat with post-Freeza, though Sabat did a fantastic job with early Vegeta in Kai, the only exception being the "Vegeta's Wrath" scene on Namek. Till this day, Drummond's version of that scene has yet to be topped, at least IMO.
