At least it's not taking place against the background of Paranormal Activity. Really weird that somehow, despite the original costing $15,000, these movies seem like cheap ripoffs.

The Hunger Games spoof thing has been news for a while actually.
I remember because I predicted that Katniss would become Catpiss.

I would break up with a girl if she wanted me to take her to any of these

Seriously. Just stop.
I'll admit I liked the very first Scary Movie, but everything else after that was just painful ¬.¬

I actually LOVE parody mash-up movies.
The first three Scary Movies and Shriek if You Know What I Did Last Friday The 13th are my favorites.

So... to recap, in 2013. Scary Movie 5 A Haunted House AND 30 Nights of Paranormal Activity with the Devil Inside the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Let's not forget that there will most likely be a new Paranormal Activity movie out next year as well. This also apparently exists, although I'm not sure if it's out already or not.

I cannot fathom that anyone would rank Scary Movie 2 anywhere other than dead last.
Even David Cross would likely agree, and he was in it.

How come there hasn't been a smart spoof comedy since? Pretty much the only smart parody/spoof to come out since is Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, but that was spoofing the entire horror genre as a whole, not really any individual films.

The Hunger Games spoof thing has been news for a while actually. I remember because I predicted that Katniss would become Catpiss. And then we all agreed that that pun would be too high brow for them and that "Fatniss" would be the more likely name they'd choose. Because it would mean they'd get to make Katniss fat(you know, for fat jokes, and hey give them credit that name would actually fit the barely there theme of the film).
