So Aries continues to stir the pot with Hogan and eventually becomes TNA Champ again, just for Hogan to lace 'em up one more time. He faces Aries on PPV and beats him for the TNA title, ushering in a new era of Hulkamania...
Okay.

I will only accept this if it leads to HOGAN vs WARRIOR 3: The Search for No Money

It's a good idea.
Look at it like this, lets say Hogan beats someone like Hardy or Sting or someone for the World Title. He goes into a 2 month feud with a young guy and jobs to the young guy. Young guy looks awesome.
No Hulk won't have a 5 star match but this is the biggest icon of wrestling and he still is money. If he can Hulk Up, Hit a Leg Drop and a Big Boot he should be TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

You just know Hogan wants a 'dream match' with fav Jeff. I have no earthly idea how they'd get there. His dream match is against Brooke Hogan but that's a whole nother story.

Lotta negative talk on here about this like TNA is actually good or something! We currently hear Hardys inner thoughts, their TV ratings r trash compared to what they want and their BIG thing coming up is the return of Sting to take out Luke Gallows!! Hogan doesn't have to get the belt, but him wrestling on Impact once or twice a month would definitely raise the ratings.

Anyone else and I'd write this off as just a kayfabe joke they'd tack on the end, "and what else? Oh yeah, to be TNA Champion!"
But this being Hogan, I'm a little scared.

I'm just honestly amazed that the Guardian talked to Hogan. They're normally too focused on being the refined broadsheet to deign to talk about wrestling.

I'd be down for a month or so reign. Just as long as they don't do something silly like beat Hardy for it. Maybe have someone be a fluke champion that beats Hardy. Say Daniels since he is talented enough to stay over no matter what. Plus, Daniels is the kind of guy TNA would never get behind for a long term title run so just a short one could be a blessing. Daniels could then be really disrespectful to Hogan until Hogan decides to come out of retirement to get the strap off of him.
Meanwhile they could continue to build on the storyline between Hogan and Bully. Bully could then go full blown heel and destroy Hogan for the title at the next PPV (since Bully is a MUCH better heel than face anyway).
Edit: Just wanted to add that it would be hilarious to see the boards after Hogan beats Daniels for the belt too. Bonus points if it is like Christian's loss to Orton and happens less than a week after Daniels wins it. Better yet they could polish off the Wrestlemania IX ending...

Hogan is approaching Khali levels of immobility, but I like my TNA wacky, zany, and laughably bad, so I'd be up for it. Maybe for his matches they could speed up the video to make it look like he isn't moving in slow motion.

Bully Ray is actually the only guy i can see pulling off an effective series of matches against hogan. Daniels MIGHT work, but Hardy and Hogan wouldnt mesh well (aside from Muta, hogan never even fought high-flyers in his prime, let alone now).

It's kind of like how this year TNA bragged that they have Sting and WWE doesn't. 2013 can be the year TNA holds legitimate Father/Daughter incest storylines over Vince's head as well.

Would it really make a difference at this point of Hogan became champion?
