I always see a lot of doom and gloom threads about how TNA is just waiting to go out of business or be absorbed by the WWE. So just a disclaimer here that this is completely hypothetical and I'm not trying to say TNA is just waiting to die.
I'm interested in this scenario though. How much of a boost does ROH get? What stars end up in NJPW, AAA, etc ? And of course who does the WWE sign?

Sadly, I think just about the entire roster would be indy bound or hit the orient.
I just can't see Vince understanding why he should roll the dice on like TWTTCOTW or Fatboy Joe or anybody not named Angle, Hardy or the Dudleys.
Vince: Now who the hell is this Christopher Daniels, damnit? He looks like a cancer patient. Stooge: Well sir, he's been a long time fixture of TNA Wrestling and is well regarded on the independent scene. Vince: Independent... scene? Stooge: Uh, yeah sir, independent wrestling. Vince: What!? What the f*** is that!? Do I own that? Stooge: Uh, no sir, at least now yet. Vince: Huh...... well why I have you here, what do you think about this fourty-seven minute long AJ Lee segment?

A few guys (Jeff Hardy, Bully Ray, Kurt Angle, Tazz) would be WWE bound. WWE might even pick up some of the top homegrown stars like AJ Styles and Bobby Roode.
The rest will be spread across the indies and international promotions.
A few of them will just retire.

a lot of the guys right now I don't think would be interested in the WWE. I'm sure WWE would love a guy like AJ Styles or Bobby Roode, but I don't see mutual interest.
And most of the doom and gloom threads have gone away

Hogan would probably go back to WWE
Sting would stay retired until another secondary national promotion came up.
Hardy, Angle, Taz, Dudley Boys would probably all have interest from the WWE. Also Mickie James and Tara
Your guys like AJ, Daniels, Joe etc would be picked up by Japanese promotions the rest would hit the indies.
People shouldn't want TNA togo out of business. They are a great company.

Hardy, Angle, the Dudley's, Hogan, Roode, Storm, Joe and a few others would probably go to the E.
The rest would just float around the indies and/or Japan.

I'd likely be done watching mainstream North American Pro Wrestling, at least for a couple of years (maybe even longer).

They are a great company. What planet are you on? I will give TNA this. When they're bad, they're comically awful. When WWE is bad the product is just stale and boring. I think with TNA they try really hard to stand out, but it often just misfires so poorly. Like hiring some of the lower level cast mates from Jersey Shore.

They are a great company. What planet are you on? Earth. What's wrong with TNA? Last episode was really good. Decent story lines, Mystery angle, Decent wrestling matches a strong main event. Sounds better than WWE to me.

Hardy could get really pushed if he's gotten his act together. IMO he'd still be over with the WWE crowd.
Out of the guys with no WWE background I think Roode would have the best chance of a big push.

I doubt Angle would work in the WWE at this point. Bully either. They both would probably want to continue wrestling but I doubt WWE would go for that considering their physical state.

People shouldn't want TNA togo out of business. Agreed with this. Even with TNA's reputation, I don't want it to go out of business because I think there needs to be more "big" wrestling promotions out there. Pro wrestling is pretty much the only profession where one has to be one of the elite just to make a decent living. WWE being the only game in town pretty much hurts wrestlers' career prospects. I don't like the idea that if a wrestler isn't in the WWE, then he's either a "reject", a "has-been" or a "never-was". If I were a wrestler, I'd like to know that there's somewhere else I can wrestle and still be able to do alright for myself and/or provide for a family even if I never made it to the WWE, and that's the type of security that TNA provides. I'd also

Aside from big names llike Sting, Hogan, Hardy, Angle etc. I can only see 3 guys being picked up by WWE.
Kenny King, Magnus and Bobby Roode are all tailor made for WWE.

I think Magnus would be signed by WWE and become a top-level star.

If TNA went out of business today, makes me curious if Bischoff still has connections that would be willing to help buy it...like is Fusient still around? As long as they've got a TV deal, I see someone willing to at least attempt to buy it.

I've been listening to the MLW podcasts and Konnan is a booker for AAA, so he may try to get his hands on some of the talent.
WWE - AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, James Storm, Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Matt Morgan, Rob Van Dam, Sting, Mickie James, Bully Ray, Devon ROH - Christopher Daniels, Kazarian, Joey Ryan New Japan/Japan in general- Chris Sabin, Kenny King, Magnus, Mexico - Abyss, Chavo Guerrero, Hernandez, Mr. Anderson, Zema Ion Indies - The rest of the roster
