If I have to drive in it, I hate it. If not, it's tolerable.

I hate snow. - It can cause traffic accidents, possibly killing people, also slows down traffic - It can damage your house - You have to shovel it - It makes life even harder for homeless people Agreed on all counts. I've had a couple of bad incidents driving in the snow, so I now have an almost crippling fear of driving in it. The guys at work bust my balls because they know if there's more than an inch or two, I won't be making it in.

Selfishly, I love snow. I recognize the problems it causes for other people (and myself, if I have to commute in it or walk around in Jersey City when it's all turned to ice and dark sludge), but if I'm up at my parents' house during a snowfall, with a hockey game on (damn you, NHL), a rich, dark winter beer in hand, realizing I won't be going anywhere so long as the white stuff is coming down...love it.
Honestly, I don't even mind shoveling THAT much. It's nice exercise.
Now, if we go through a period where we have multiple snowstorms in a short amount of time, making life unbearable for people? Yeah, that can get bad. But the first nice snow of the season, hard to beat it.
