Ladies and gentlemen this is what the NWA is about in 2012. 2 Indy guys nobodies ever heard of shoot fighting in front of 60 people.
Edit: They start "shooting" around 6 and a half minutes in.

Wow that was embarrassing to watch. I bet the people in the audience were so confused.

I've never seen a small package in a shoot fight. Well, other than Tito Ortiz.
At least Michael Tarver was there.

What the hell?
Seriously. This better not have been something that broke down and just a really well done angle.
Because...what the hell.

I kind of feel bad for Kahagas with all the recent bad press the NWA has been getting. The guy is actually a decent worker and I've heard good things about him as a trainer. It's just that when the title goes from the likes of Adam Pearce and Colt Cabana two of the top indie names out there to Kahagas a guy only big fans of southeastern indie wrestling have really heard of you can't help but look bad by comparison.
Add to that the fact that he just gets manhandled in that clip. Really, I wouldn't have been surprised if Santee just started giving him a pink belly at one point.

Yeah the reason I think it could be real is the fight wasn't equal at all. Surely you'd want Kahagas to kick the living shit out of Santee if it was a work.
It also makes no sense to work this because the only part of the audience who would care (The internet fans) are only going to care if it's a big indy name (Like a Davey Richards)

To me the funny thing is that this all happened at a charity event called "Bodyslamming For Toys".

Putting the "pro" in pro wrestling. What a joke.

that shoot was hilarious. It's like the Fake Horace Boulder wanted to kick Fake Muta's ass but didn't know how to stretch or choke him out. Somewhere Stu Hart is laughing his ass off.

If Bruce Santee didn't want to do the job, then why even bother having the match if you're then gonna surprise the guy with a real ass kicking.
From watching this video, Santee looks like a f***ing chump.

I have to wonder what guys like Ric Flair, Harley Race or Terry Funk would think about this if they watched it. The belt they and a lot of other legends wrestled for and held being controlled by an idiot who's top guy is a Muta wannabe.

We should Kickstarter about 10 grand to have Mutoh come over here and just beat the shit out of this embarrassment.

I do feel bad for Kahagas as he isn't a bad choice to represent the NWA (may not be a name, but he's a good worker and supposedly a cool dude). Real crappy situation

Kahagas is not a bad worker but he shouldn't be a World Champion.
The NWA has gone from popular indy talent such as Adam Pearce, Blue Demon Jr, Brent Albright, Bryan Danielson, Colt Cabana and others like Phil Shatter and The Sheik in the Bob Trobich era to now the Bruce Tharpe era which has featured a feud between Damien Wayne (Who?) Vs Kahagas (Who?) for the NWA World Heavyweight Title.
A decent midcard feud it would be, both are talented but nobody knows who they are. After the Adam Pearce and Colt Cabana incident with the title they should of put the belt on a name guy for the next 6 months and have him do the territory circuit and build up these other guys.
Basically what they've done though is the equivalent of the WWE having CM Punk leave the promotion tomorrow and have the new WWE Champion be Yoshi Tatsu

I call somewhat of a work. Why else would the camera go behind the curtains and then the video be released? x
