Also, something that I don't think has been mentioned too much on air: If Seattle, Minnesota, and Arizona all win next week, Seattle is the #2 seed.

Oh, I'm definitely aware, seeing as my team just scored 58 on them 14 days ago. Just mentioning an additional, less likely possibility. They've implied it a few times, but haven't outright said the scenario which would need to happen.

So, the Giants can't win the NFC East? I checked and, no they can't, because their divisional record would still be worse than both Washington and Dallas.

I had the 49ers atop my power rankings last week. Suffice to say they're falling.

Had to go do some shopping, but I just saw the score and... wow. The Seahawks are the new powerhouse in the NFC, as far as I'm concerned. To blow out the Cardinals is one thing, but to blow out the damn 49ers, that's just impressive as hell.

The only one team would be ahead of them with the same record (Denver Broncos) lost to them head to head.

So it comes down to this. All Dallas has to do is defeat their division rival, and they will win the East and make it to the playoffs.
Wait a second, didn't this play out LAST YEAR? Oh God.....

If Houston and Denver played right now, you think Houston beats them?

I really think people are overlooking the Broncos as weird as it is to say. People want to make a big deal out of their close losses to NE, ATL and HOU not realizing or ignoring that they were 6-6-10 point losses. We had a defense that started off learning a new coaches system yet again and had several starters suspended. Then the obvious, an entirely new offense for the third time in 2 seasons with their 3rd QB in 2 seasons, with Manning and his offense being huge on adjustments and timing which was obviously an issue in the early games. Peyton and the rest of offense said they weren't comfortable with each other until week 8.
Now I am not saying those games don't count or anything stupid like that, Denver lost, but to write them off as frauds based on those games while ignoring everything else is just ridiculous. I'm looking forward to seeing what this team when hitting on all cylinders can do against 2 of those 3 again (I'd say all 3 but no chance in hell we see ATL again). Maybe we win, maybe we lose another close one but it won't be an embarrassment like some seem to think.
