Another movie I try to watch around Christmas. Could never get tired of it. Who else a fan?

The pods that hatched the Gremlins were one of the things that truly scared me as a kid (I was a whopping 7 years old in 84).

Scared of this movie to this day. First saw it when I was 4 and I was terrified of those little demons. The Gremlins themselves have awesome character design. The second movie is ok, but the design is changed and it's not nearly as good as the first.

Showed this to my 8 year old a few weeks back for the first time. He loved it.

I liked it. The way they used the "Do you hear what I hear" was really clever. I liked the way the director was able to accent the subtle creepy undertones to the whole childhood Christmas experience. That "he sees you when you're sleeping" stuff is a little bit ominous.

The "dead father" monologue is amazing.

Love Gremlins. Used to have a Gremlins movie poster in my room when I was little.

I watch it every year. This is easily one of my all time favorites. The sequel is pretty damn good as well, in my opinion.
