All we know was that Cena lied though out the whole angle because AJ revealed that they were indeed dating while she was G.M., while he kept insisting that they weren't.

I don't recall seeing a thread about calling for Dolph's head about exploiting AJ, and he's the actual heel in all of this (calls the girl trash, yet not only claims she thought about him while kissing another man, but then actually makes out with her in public on multiple occasions). Unless AJ and Cena are playing the most elaborate romantic ruse I've seen in WWE...

But actually - at this juncture it seems more like AJ's manipulating Dolph than the other way around.

If AJ is using Dolph, then how does that not absolve Cena? If AJ is stringing Dolph along, this isn't the first time she's done this. She's kissed both Bryan and Punk, one right after the other, pushed Punk into Bryan which put them both through a table, convinced Kane she was even crazier than he was, and said yes to Bryan's engagement, just to abandon him at the altar to be the Raw GM (granted, we still never really knew if this was a ruse by Bryan to send her away -- although AJ claims this to be the case).
I love AJ, but even I can see she's caused much of the emotional harm done to her, even if she didn't necessarily start it; she never really sought out the help to end it. She realized he kept her at an arm's length, even with the 'business date' and kiss. Cena's a jerk to someone who turned out to be vindictive?
Either I'm looking at this all wrong, or this angle is more confusing than I thought.

I love AJ threads. They're like treasure chests full of the posters' unconscious, screwed-up views toward women.

I love AJ threads. They're like treasure chests full of the posters' unconscious, screwed-up views toward women. The problem with a statement like that is the thought that it's clear who's been playing who since AJ became a commodity to talk about. She's now a full heel, a vindictive bitch trying to get back at a guy for 'stringing her along' when she was just (supposed to be) a sympathetic girl who never really had a real, sustained relationship since her time in WWE. Who is in the wrong more, AJ for seemingly taking any show of care or affection to the extreme and then reacting accordingly when it goes south in her mind, or the various men? Both sides are at fault, wouldn't you think, especially those who actively sought to make her look bad (heel Punk, heel Bryan)

Cena? A dick? You don't say.
For a guy that's all about loyalty and respect, he sure does toy with women's emotions alot.

Either I'm looking at this all wrong, or this angle is more confusing than I thought. Cena was the one who kissed her (not the other way around like it usually is for AJ and her bfs) and was the initiator early on in the whole 'scandal.' AJ only became obsessive after she saw all of Cena's perceived advances towards her. Additionally, Ziggler called this weeks in advance (the heel was right again...). That of AJ's craziness and Cena beat Ziggler up just for saying the truth about her. Something usually only a boyfriend will do. Seems like it was a combination of AJ's obsessive tendencies and Cena being kind of a jerk to her.

He was just tryin' to get laid! Which he did. LOL. Just another weird angle. It's always been like that. It's not as bad as the Legacy split I brought up in the Dibiase thread. On the plus side, at least it's not 1998 or that weird era of Katie Vick and Snitsky killing rape babies. If it was, I'd think a suicide attempt (real or for attention) would be in the cards.

You know, as much of a jerk that Cena is in all this, it's still not as bad as how he was in the Ryder/Eve storyline. He makes out with his best friend's girlfriend, then turns around and tries to paint himself as the victim, as Eve as the hoski.

So, better question, if Dolph is supposed to be too smart to fall for AJ's BS (by "being right" about everything he said about her, to her face), why is he hooking up with her anyway?
Especially since she's the one being portrayed as the mastermind (despite Dolph "being right").

It's both their faults. Cena is a bit of a dick but AJ is a whole lotta crazy.

Langston at her disposal so getting rid of Dolph (and maybe even get his briefcase) is a finger snap away. If the Dolph/AJ relationship affects anyone, it's Dolph since he left a safe way to the top by being with Vickie for a younger, more attractive and more volatile woman.

Even if Dolph still believes all those things he's said about AJ before, he still has gained a lot by allying himself with her. So far for Ziggler, the positives far outweigh the negatives when it comes to dating a "crazy chick".
