Emmy & Oscar nominated and Golden Globe & Tony winning actor Charles Durning died yesterday at the age of 89. I love his starring role in Stand Alone, that movie is awesome. I'm sorry to hear that he's passed. If you want to watch Stand Alone, which has only to this point been released on VHS, it was uploaded to youtube last month:

Damn, I just watched The Muppet Movie and thought it was cool that out of all the big cameo players, Doc Hopper was one of the only ones still alive. Great actor. RIP

Doc Hopper is one of my all-time favorite movie villains. He will be missed.
