Just got done watching this video and thought you guys might like it. I've never seen the movie, so if you haven't I wouldn't advise watching this as it does spoil it somewhat, but nevertheless it's an amazing watch. I put the part that fascinated me the most in spoilers, since I'm sure it gives part of the movie away. {Spoiler}Aside from the general store which has presumably been burned down, the entire town of Spectre is still intact, albeit very overgrown. Also, Adam shows in the video that a lot of the fake trees made for the movie are still intact as he walks to the town itself. All in all, stuff like this intrigues the hell out of me.

That is neat. I wonder what other sets are left up. I thought that Hobbiton was left up from the LOTR filming, which made it easy to film for The Hobbit.

On his channel he explores other film locations for movies like 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' and 'Beetlejuice', but the majority of his film location vids show that not a lot is left in most spots.
I find it weird how they just essentially leave an entire town (well, you know what I mean) there to rot instead of tearing them down. I'm glad they didn't tear them down, the video is much more interesting this way - but I wonder that for all abandoned stuff. Why not just tear it down instead of leaving it up to never get used again?

It was originally part of the deal that it was removed but once they realised the potential of tours and whatnot, they decided to keep it. I visited it last year. It's pretty cool.
