Terrible. The Rock ending Punk's reign is a huge waste of a potential career maker for someone.

Id rather Punk go over Rock (and Im not a Punk fan) than see Cena go over Rock. Espc when Im going to Mania. Last Mania I went to was 2000 and that was a bad ending for me. Bah.
If hes getting the belt at the Rumble, Ill try to enjoy what might be his last run with the belt.
If Rock is going to job to Cena at Mania, than I hope WWE lets Rocky go full-on 2003 style Hollywood Rock. Drop the Boots to Asses and rah rah stuff and go hard to the hole.

Ending a reign of over a year should be a big deal for someone. Have someone like Kofi or Ryback, or hell, even Miz end it.
The Rock strolling in after having 2 matches in roughly 7 years and winning the title is just retarded

Punk has been such death as champion that I honestly don't give a damn who.he drops the belt to.

Will Rock dropping the belt to Cena hurt the Tensai gimmick?

I wonder what the WWE would do if Rock wasn't ok with dropping the title to Cena at Wrestlemania.

So I guess the internet is tired of CM Punk champion. I'd actually like to see Punk retain in some flukey way like Cena accident causing him to get DQ'ed or pinned. Problem is who gets the rub? Ryback is expected to take on Show and another match with Punk would be blah in the fan's eyes

And this place would vomit up an ocean if either Kofi or Miz beat Punk.

So I guess the internet is tired of CM Punk champion. It's not so much that the internet (or live fans for that matter) are sick of him, it's that his reign has been fairly uneventful, add to that, they outright told anyone who could read between the lines back in July that it was gonna be Punk vs Rock at the Rumble has rendered every title match since then a foregone conclusion

So if allthe rumours are true, then soon we might have WWE with The Rock as the champion, and TNA with Hulk Hogan as the champion. ROH had better ring up Sammartino, or they're going to get left behind in this race to the past.

I wonder what the WWE would do if Rock wasn't ok with dropping the title to Cena at Wrestlemania. They'd go into a frantic panic, of course.

On that list of the 25 longest reigns, for how many do you remember the opponent who beat them for the title to end those streaks? It doesn't help anyone long term anyway. That person can brag for a few weeks and that's about all it's "worth".
Now if they would have unified the titles for Rock (or Cena for that matter), that would have been a wasted moment that could have been used to elevate someone who needed it.

Still think Mania match needs to be either a Triple Threat (Rock beats Punk, Cena wins the Rumble and both have a legit claim to face Rock) with either Punk or Cena walking out champ and wrapping up their feud in the months following or Punk wins at RR thanks to Lesnar (giving us Lesnar/Rock at WM) and Cena winning the Rumble and them finally wrapping up his feud with Punk at WM in the final match.
Just some (probably bad) fantasy booking, do the 2nd one with Cena/Punk closing Mania with Cena winning the belt, have Rock beat Lesnar then on RAW (yes on RAW) have Rock beat Punk (maybe someone cost Punk if you want to protect him and set up another feud or Rock wins clean I don't care) and get the shot at Extreme Rules if possible.
Granted that is all on Rock being around for ER but I think his run was ending then anyway. If Rock cannot stick around, then go with the triple threat with Cena pinning Rock to win the title and have Punk and Cena finish up their feud in the following months, probably at MitB.

Remember that thing some of us in that other thread said about Punk's reign only being secondary to Rock vs. Cena, and that he's only been champion this long out of circumstance?
Yeah, that.

If we have to have Cena/Rock II, can we please have them build the match through some other way than just having 15 minute dick measuring contests on RAW every week?

Remember that thing some of us in that other thread said about Punk's reign only being secondary to Rock vs. Cena, and that he's only been champion this long out of circumstance? Yeah, that. That logic makes no sense, though. His reign was going to end, and eventually even if for a few months, he'd be out of the title picture. Just because Rock/Cena might happen doesn't take away from his reign.
