Warning: Spoilers and Censored Language. LOL, wow that's actually a really good summary. The only ones I really noticed were the "Daytime/Nighttime motorcycle chase" bit, Bruce Wayne being able to teleport into Gotham, and Talia helping find the nuke despite the fact that she's the villain.

So Bane KNEW a little girl could escape the pit, but he somehow is shocked that Batman (given plenty of time to heal) could?
I mean, he didn't tie him up or anything, he just let him walk freely around the prison.

So Bane KNEW a little girl could escape the pit, but he somehow is shocked that Batman (given plenty of time to heal) could? He knew Batman was mostly without fear, and death would be something of a release for Bruce Wayne. Hence the "Your punishment must be more severe" line that gets quoted to death, waaay out of context. The thing was, the old guy in the prison knew that lack of fear was going to hold Bruce back. And the rope was too much of a crutch for everyone else trying to climb out. They would make the climb, and then when it came to tyhat final jump, they would do it knowing the rope would stop them from going SPLAT! on the prison floor. When little Talia did the climb she did it without the rope, and of course a little girl would be afraid to die, she didn't have Bane up there able to protect her as he had done all that time she was there. Doing that jump without the rope, you're scared of dying, you better do it right. That was the significance of the swarm of Bats around Bruce Wayne as he neared the top. He found his "fear" again (remember back in Begins, he tells Alfred that he is scared of Bats, so he dresses like one so criminals come to share his fears), which Bane did not count on, so he puts his all into making that jump, because if he fails, he dies, and Bane destroys Gotham. I am well aware this is incredibly wordy, for an explanation of a smallish plot point, but I understood this. To be honest looking back on the entire trilogy, it's pretty amazing that apart from Joker, the main villains were the League of Shadows/Assassins, if all people.

I absolutely HATED this in theatres...I almost walked out at one point even I thought it was that bad. For some reason I ended up buying it on DVD and liked it much better after watching it again at home.
I still think it's a pretty weak follow-up to Dark Knight though. They went from an awesome performance of Ledger's Joker...to Bane. I just don't find him to be that interesting of a villain. This movie would have been so much better if they hadn't killed off Two-Face in TDK and had him as the lead villain instead.
I also didn't like how Bane was done in...it was kind of a crappy way to kill off the villain of a 3 hr long movie. I expected more than what they did.
Gripes aside...I did enjoy it more being able to watch it at home. Bane was more understandable which helped quite a bit. In theatres...he just sounded so muddy at times it was really hard to understand what he was saying.

Thought it was amazing, i think i enjoyed it more than TDK. Sure there's flaws, but what movie doesn't have them? Bane was cool and the voice was fine, there was only a couple of lines that i didn't catch. I wonder though... how did he eat?

For all my criticisms about plot holes and hackery, at the end of the day I found it bloated and boring in a way that I've not felt Nolan usually is. Bloated, yeah, but I didn't care because I enjoyed them front to back.

And that the doctor who could help him was also in the prison completely free to walk around and tend to Bruce. I mean, it's not like Bruce was a trained League of Shadows member who, as far as you know, killed Ra's Al Ghul. Might as well treat him like all the other riff-raff in the prison. Of course, the entire thing could have been avoided if he left any one of the League of Shadows assassins to actually watch the prison to see if Bruce was healing or escaping, but then we wouldn't have gotten Bruce Wayne, graffiti artist. From the prison on was just one of those really weird script decisions that turned the movie from "this is an absolutely brilliant story" to "Wait, what?" for me.

Just finished watching it for the second time. I liked it just a little bit more than when i saw it at the theater. I left the theater pretty disappointed. The only thing that bothered me was JGLs character. The actual character was okay, really the problem for me was the stupid Robin reveal at the end. If that is supposed to be Robin, just name him Dick Grayson. Changing his origin wouldn't have even bothered me. I just thought that was lame.
edit- also I was really hoping Banes #1 henchman would have been Falconer. But that's the comic nerd in me rearing his ugly head. Also, I really wish Ledger was alive so we could have had a Joker cameo. That scene with Scarecrow judging people would have been a million times better with The Joker doing that. Granted having Dr. Crane pop up in all three movies was pretty cool.

Not my favorite superhero movie of the year, nor my favorite of the Dark Knight trilogy, but still a fine film in my opinion.

And also, him appearing in Gotham isn't that far fetched considering he snuck around the world before training with the league of shadows. If anything, I'd be surprised if he didn't find a way into the Bane occupied Gotham. He's supposed to be the goddam Batman.
