A thread with some title that you can't tell what it's about it much more likely to be clicked and seen here. His thread titles tell exactly what the story is about...YOU are the one choosing to click on that thread and complain about it. There's no mystery what it's going to be, so the only person you have to blame for clicking on it is yourself.
It's a news item...yeah it's depressing, but then I guess we'd have to get rid of all news items. So long video games news. Farewell movie news! Wrestling news? Yer in a different section so yer OK.
I know people like to think we have too many rules here, and sometimes I agree, but contrary to popular belief we don't like to ban subjects that aren't breaking the rules (although we did ask SuperSweet to ease up on the nonsense threads...which I'm regretting now).
We're not in the business of holding hands, and there's no more negativity than before...except those that want all manner of threads banned. This is ridiculous.
Jagaliki, make an appreciation thread about me please.

But the thing is most his threads just turn into arguments or discussion not about the original article but rather is it too much. The same people complain also about the Friday thread which I figure is annoying but don't click on it. I am just like i guess its Friday okay

These threads are pointless because we can't discuss them properly due to the 'no-politics' rule.

Jagaliki, make an appreciation thread about me please. This is one of the few of his threads I've entered, actually. The titles alone are bad enough most of the time. I actually tend to ignore most of the threads on here because of vague/mysterious titles, too. Basically him using vague thread titles would greatly improve things. Especially since I would then look at who created the thread and would know to ignore it. By him summing up the story in the title I don't even get that chance, because I'm already exposed to it right then and there. Don't even get a chance to ignore it. Whether or not I click on the thread becomes pointless after the fact that the title still says the depressing/tragic thing that's inside the thread. There are two big issues I have. It is how Ghidorah titles his threads and the sheer number of them. Like I said he makes at least one a day, like clockwork. Even at the height of my creating video game news related threads I didn't even post that many that often. But whatever all I can do is just sit here and complain. Short of not even coming here period there isn't anything I can really do about these threads, so do whatever you feel like doing or not doing. Not really any more point in me even saying anything else, we'd just be going in circles anyways, so I'm done.

I don't have a problem with his threads. It adds to the diversity.

I don't have a problem with these threads, but almost every reply is just, "damn you, Ghidorah."

I don't have a problem with these threads, but almost every reply is just, "damn you, Ghidorah." And I think the "Dammit Ghidorah" is pretty much a running joke on almost all of the news articles now regardless of the poster. And whenever he does post something positive, someone says something along the lines of, "Where's the part where the puppies get hacked up with a chainsaw?" or something.

You want to post "Guess what happened to a South Carolina toddler?" Go for it. Then I am free to ignore it. If I see it and click on it, despite seeing who started the thread, it's my own fault. If people are in to reading about dead children, they'll see who started the thread, click the link, and get whatever thrill one gets from that sort of thing. There are many ways to handle this so that everyone can be happy. The status quo is one of the few options that isn't working.

What compelled you to click this thread? Seriously.

These threads are pointless because we can't discuss them properly due to the 'no-politics' rule. Where is the politics of someone being a bad parent and a child killing himself in the process? Know what? Don't answer that. This threads gone as far as it can. Anyone wants to discuss it further, by all means PM me.
