You'd think he care about becoming a world champion a bit more like top priority. When's the last time he or the WHC have had any kind of interaction?

Actually it's for the World Heavyweight Championship. They refer to Dolph as the "World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Winner", not the "SmackDown Money in the Bank Winner", although most likely Dolph would be officially moved to the SD brand upon cashing in.
Dolph hasn't interacted with the World Heavyweight Champion because Sheamus' feuds tend to be dragged out for months, and thus Dolph is thrown into feuds with whomever currently isn't doing anything else.
I think that they could make the briefcase multibrand, mainly because Cena blew the WWE Title briefcase so early that most people probably forgot that there were even two of them to begin with.

The RAW following TLC when he tried to cash in on Big Show but Cena stopped or the RAW or SD following when they teamed up and Show told Dolph he'd KO Dolph, Big E. and AJ if he tried to cash in in him that night or Tribute to the Troops when they teamed and it was talked about. So yeah, just a week or two ago. |

They had a picture of an older copy of the MitB contract from the year prior a while back where it didn't state in the contract that the title shot was brand specific. Found it odd that WWE.com had that photo for just that reason. Hmmm.

Maybe Vickie can make a match with Punk and Show, and whoever loses the MITB case is now for that title? Idk if that would really make sense or not, Dolph could be the ref maybe. I would rather him go after the WWE title so even if this doesn't make perfect sense I would prefer it.
