I know we've had some about the best, some about the cheapest and some about the most fattening, but what stuff have you gotten at fast food places that were just nasty.
This thread is inspired by my trip to Burger King today. I saw that they had curly fries and they even had pictures of them that looked delicious. They looked like the kind Jack in the Box sells that are fattening as all hell and probably smothered in E. coli, but they taste so good that you just don't care. Instead what I got were sweet potato curly fries. They tasted kind of gross and had an after taste. I ended up throwing them away despite my tendency to nearly never throw away perfectly fine food.

McDonalds had been advertising those cheddar sandwiches, the beef and chicken ones. I tried each of them and thought they were both disgusting beyond belief. While McDonalds isn't my favorite fast food place, I still enjoy almost everything on their menu...but those new sandwiches...yuck...just no!

Burger King in general sucks, but there used to be a location near me that had patties that were about 68% grease and maybe 15% beef. And their fries were uncharacteristically limp.

Grabbed a McMuffin not too long ago where the "egg" was not exactly cooked. It was like having a mouthful of paper-mache.

My younger brother bought a McRib when they were selling them here earlier in the year... One whiff of it later, he gagged and refused to eat it.
I agreed with him... it smelt NASTY, so I couldn't imagine that the taste was any better.

I got some Ramen a few weeks ago that were supposed to be "Soy Sauce" flavour, so I expected them to be salty, nope, they tasted like a horrific combination of Fish, ass and had seaweed mixed in. Completely vile.

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of Burger King either. I just started going their recently because it is the only fast food place on my drive to work that has good parking. Today I got an Alaskan Fish Sandwich and those aforementioned fries. The sandwich was actually pretty tasty. Next time I'll probably just get that sandwich and a order of the normal fries. Still, I wish there was a McDonalds, KFC or better yet some remotely healthy option along the way.

In Australia at the moment McDonald's has the BBQ burger... Kinda like the Jack Daniels burger you can get at TGI Fridays (Do you have the JD Burger in the U.S?)
Anyway: It 's like a quarter pounder burger, cheese, smokey bbq sauce, and fried onion rings. Sounds like a winning combo... But somehow Maccas have got it wrong.

Orange peels. Thanks, Supersweet.
Realistically, the BK chicken sandwich. Nasty.

Anything seafood from "Red Rooster". It tasted like it had just been microwaved.

In the KFCs around here back then they sold a kind of Burrito thing. The bacon cheese one was good, and the California maki one was decent. The moment I tried the fish fillet version I spat the first bite out. I guess they only know chicken...

Hmm... Can't really say I've had much fast food that was truly awful, but the KFC Double Down made me physically ill to the point where I couldn't even finish it.

Anything seafood from "Red Rooster". It tasted like it had just been microwaved. The bigger question would be why you're getting seafood from a chicken place.

Not to add to the BK hate, but this thread reminded me of a story of Robert Downey, Jr. According to Robert Downey Jr.:

The Rodeo Cheeseburger from Burger King gets it a little more right, though it could use a 2nd onion ring on there.
