We hear about the sports teams that get along well, great chemistry, good locker room rapport.
This thread is about the opposite- teams that couldn't get along, chemistry/locker room issues, etc.
3 teams stand out to me in this regard:
2004 Lakers (It's a miracle they made the NBA Finals if you look at their turmoil and injuries)
Portland Jail Blazers (A volatile group of talented knuckleheads that didn't quite conduct themselves well)
Isiah Thomas' Knicks- They were basically a worse on-court version of those Blazers. Hilariously bad contracts, Dolan, Marbury, coaching woes- and it got them 0 winning records and 1 playoff appearance, a 4-and-out against the Nets. At least Portland's troublesome team could actually function on the court. NYK for a stretch couldn't function on AND off the court.

The New York Jets of the last 2 seasons. 2010 was pretty bizarre too but at least they made it that far. And nobody remembers how that Knicks run of futility started with Scott Layden as GM. It was so bad that when Isiah initially took over, I breathed a sigh of relief. Also the 1992 Mets were so bad there's a book about how bad it was.

1977 New York Yankees. That team was full of dysfunction. Between Billy Martin hating Reggie Jackson's guts and George Steinbrenner meddling any chance he could. The constant tension that Steinbrenner would fire Martin at any moment and the fact that Munson and Jackson weren't exactly friends. It's amazing that team was able to win the World Series. Hell the situation was so volatile, they eventually created a TV special about it, "The Bronx is Burning."

The Bronx Zoo Yankees, yeah. I'm amazed they actually got to the World Series, much less won it.
Also, the New York Jets and Detroit Lions this year. And the Raiders. Not even a specific year, just the Raiders in general.

The Oakland Raiders since 2002. We're talking about a team with 7 Head Coaches (about to be 8 supposedly), Jamarcus Russell, trading high draft picks for over the hill players, giving the Patriots Randy Moss, terrible drafting, and bringing in Carson Palmer for 2 first rounders. Horrible franchise.

It was so bad that when Isiah initially took over, I breathed a sigh of relief. Layden was bad and I was glad he was gone but he just made them an irrelevant 30+ win team. Isiah had the same results but heightened everything else to turn them to a joke in the league.

09-10 Washington Wizards. Yes the Wizards suck every year, but this year was one for the books with Gilbert Arenas and one of the other players pulling guns on each other in the locker room after some sort of argument.

The Oakland Raiders: What y2joey said
The 2004 Lakers: How they got stomped by the Pistons in that year's finals was not so surprising after all
The 2009-10 Chicago Bulls: Didn't Del Negro and the GM got into a fight at some point? How they made the playoffs is beyond me.

Isn't this true of the Netherlands national football team since, well, ever? Any Dutch posters able to correct me on that?

The Bulls GM (John Paxson) grabbed Del Negro's tie and jabbed him 2x in the chest trying to provoke him after Vinny played Joakim Noah for too many minutes beyond a team imposed limit after Noah returned from a foot injury.

First team I think of would be the NY Jets over the last two seasons.
Its astounding to see how quickly the wheels fell off that one. Hell, even Tim Tebow is succumbing to it.

What year was LeBron on the Cavs and West I think it was, was f***ing his mom? Yeah that Cavs team. It was the last year of Lebron's tenure in Cleveland. Delonte West is rumored to have had an affair with his mother and some were saying that was the reason for Lebron's statistical decline during that season. Of course, all parties involved deny the rumors.
