How can you even say this with any sort of certainty? Jeez, you'd think I said I'm glad Beth dropped Michelle on her face and Beth is a great person for having done it.

Yeah, I don't think McCool was quite as "invincible" as some seem to think.
While she got good pushes, she was still pretty much confined within the usual diva limits.

The only problem I have with her claims is that is seems whether or not WWE listened to her suggestions seemed to depend on whether or not it put over Laycool or someone else. Get Laycool an angle and more TV time? Done. Have Laycool lose more often? Well, she pushed for it, but WWE just didn't listen.

They did lose a ton though, especially the last 3-4 months. Natalya and Beth steamrolled them. The Bellas beat them in that infamous mic'd up match clean and that was when the Bellas weren't even pushed.

She's done a series of these interviews over the last week or two. The ones on the Piggie James angle, her stuff with Nattie and Melina are awesome. The stories of how the women are/were treated are just sad but not surprising.

No you just said you didn't sympathise with her and you knew someone would've turned it into an issue seeing as this article is about her getting hurt in the ring and nothing to do with her relationship with taker and the 'power' that she gained because of it.

But you said "Lose more often" and they did. The fact that WWE railroaded Natalya with an Eve reign and did as a result did nothing with either is on them.

Laycool were embarrassed all the time. That's why they were my favorite, they weren't afraid to be made to look foolish or stupid or weak.

It seems like there isn't a one without a similar story like this - Melina, Gail Kim, even Torrie Wilson and Candace Michelle. How is there still any question as to why the Divas division is in such disarray?

When it came to things that benefited Laycool, she takes credit for fighting for it and getting it on TV. Then she says they didn't lose enough and puts all the blame for it on WWE, claiming they wouldn't listen to her.

Every time Vince falls in love with a gimmick he does all he can to protect it, anything else be damned. We've heard it from Austin, Rock, Hogan, HBK, HHH, Batista, Punk, Trish, Lita, Kurt Angle, and John Cena all off the top of my head. They are doing the same with AJ now.

Michelle McCool's departure began the decline of the divas division. Even though so many around here used to hate on em, Laycool was really fun to me and adding the SES on top of that made Smackdown my favorite show at the time. Sure, she didn't have the biggest personality, but she made it work , looked natural, and Layla provided most of the personality of the duo anyway. It's a shame she gets the HHH treatment cause of who she married, cause I thought she was a fantastic worker especially coming from the Divas Search. She improved so much and I always remember how brutal her kicks and strikes looked. She didn't have that "model diva" awkwardness to her ring work. Always look like she was in a real fight.

When did any of those people, especially someone like Hogan, HHH, or HBK, claim they begged to lose or get humiliated and were rejected, even though they just claimed they successfully fought to get their ideas on TV? It seems strange that someone can successfully push to get their ideas on TV but only when it doesn't involve them looking weak. Basically, it just comes off as "Oh, you liked that? Yeah, it was my idea. You didn't like it or thought it buried my opponent? Well, that was all WWE's fault, and I swear I tried to stop them from doing it."
