OK, so the year's just about done. What grade does TNA get?

B+, maybe even an A-. The quality has kinda dropped off in the last few months but during the summer, Impact was THE wrestling show to watch. Almost every episode had at least one good/great match on it. The PPV quality is also the highest that it's been in years.

B+. I thinkTNA has been much better this year than people give them credit for. The only problems this year, and they're not a lot over 365 days, are IMO, the continuing devaluation of the Knockouts and the X-division, the tag team division has fallen since "Legendary Chavo" and Super Mex won the titles, and the failure of James Storm to win the belt at Lockdown. Even GutCheck hasn't been complete garbage, at least it gave us Joey Ryan and the 87%. Plus, Claire Lynch gave us CD and Kaz at there best.
Honestly, for the majority of the year, TNA has been better than WWE.

B+ from me. So much about TNA has been quality this year that the crap (of which there has been a share also) hasn't been able to overshadow it. The slow yet overdue push of Daniels as a main eventer (not to take anything away from Kaz either) plus their term as World Tag Team Champions of the World. Joseph Park, brother of Chris (indicates height of younger sibling) - Abyss! Bobby Roode and Austin Aries, World Heavyweight Champions. The refined BFG series (even if you aren't convinced of its eventual winner). The X-title now being a legitimate stepping stone to the WHC. (Even if the division itself needs a reboot, something they may be able to manage with Van Dam as the champ). Those things alone would have been a solid "B" in my eyes. And then Kazarian called James Storm a "goat roper" and that gave them the extra "+"

A- for me, TNA was great imo everything from Christopher Daniels and Kazarian as a tag team to Aries and Roode. They signed Kenny King and look like there gonna give him a push so all in all TNA has been great.

A-.
It was a solid A for the majority of the year, dipped into the B's around the Lockdown time since they screwed up badly, but the summer was such a good time they rose to a solid A. The end of the year, whilst still being good, did not maintain quite the same standard and dropped it to an A- but I still feel they were the best pro wrestling company this year, by a considerable distance. Also my favourite TNA year since 2006.

B+. The best year for TNA in my mind since like 2005 or 2006.

B+
To me it was obvious a few things happened that kind of made them change plans a little too much.
1. Jesse Sorrenson was not cleared to start training until the middle/end of November. Watch what they did from Destination X up until BFG with Zema Ion. They built him as a guy who will injure his opponents, and each guy he faced was sent to the shelf with long term injuries. They were obviously planning on having Jesse win the X title at BFG. That ended up not being able to happen, and they had no plans on what to do with Zema, so they put the belt on RVD. He really hasn't had a feud yet (though I like what they're doing with him and Kenny King), but RVD has been a bit rejuvenated.
2. Jeff's contract coming to an end. The panic move really kind of ruined how they were building up the BFG as Joe,Storm, and Bully were being the most dangerous while Jeff was just kind of there,
3.Turning Bully face. General rule is strike while the iron is hot, and A Double had paid off for TNA just a few months earlier, but they fell into the old trap of taking away what made people like Bully.
4. Devon returning in Aces and Eights. I think he's doing okay in the role, but it was a lame reveal.
5.Investing so much in Chavo and Hernandez. I like Chavo, and he actually looks better in the ring than he has in awhile, but when they won the title they were the 3rd most over team in a triple threat match, and IMO Morgan and Ryan are way more over than them as well
6.Some of the Gut Checks were comically bad.
Final Resolution was also fairly disappointing.
Now I do feel TNA does have some good going for them for the new year. If the rumors of guys they are looking to sign/have signed are true, TNA's doing a much better job at choosing guys to give contracts to.

This is the year I finally gave up on TNA. Might have something to do with me working afternoons so I can't watch it anymore, but then again I would always get bored of it before I started. I hate gut check, Garret Bischoff push, and that AJ/Dixie storyline and Aces and 8s. I'm watching it right now for the first time in weeks and it's awful.

When it was good, it was really good. When it was bad, it was among some of the worst shit ever committed to tape.

C-. The BFG series was some of the most coherent and consistent storytelling I think TNA's ever pulled off, but almost immediately after it ended I found myself scratching my head at a lot of it, and once again TNA is pretty stupid to me. Gut check challenge consistently making me cringe, Aces and Eights, Claire, now granted some of it is so bad it's good but ultimately it's still bad.
It's not all bad, but a lot of what goes on feels really inconsequential and the BFG series becomes a bigger anomaly as time goes by. What the hell got into them there and why couldn't they keep it up?

B-. Got better, still pretty awkward. Feels like a lot of guys have either vanished or just lost a ton of momentum. I think it's better for the company when Styles or Joe or the other true TNA talent are in the main event mix, but I'm glad to see Daniels and Kaz looking so fresh. Kaz has always been one of my favorite guys. This Aces and 8s thing, I dunno. It's not bad, and I admire the commitment to a long-term storyline, but it don't mean s*** if the storyline is boring. Bully Ray is taking good advantage of this solo run, but this s*** with Brooke and Hulk is godawful. I'm not really a Hulk hater, I'm not crazy about him, but this has been bad. He's bad. Rob Van Dam, doing Rob Van Dam things. He gets to do flips, smoke weed, and has a title, so he feels appreciated. Just don't want to see this result in a bunch of younger guys not getting shots. Gut Check is hit and miss, and will continue to be. Everybody is kind of terrible on commentary.
EDIT: Almost forgot, good christ Jeff Hardy is terrible on the mic. This guy shouldn't be world champion. How can you have a world champion with so little personality? TNA's done it, and it's a flop.
