I don't know what you are talking about, last RAW was the Christmas one and it was the best thing I've ever seen. One good Raw since what, Raw 1000? My answer is all of the above.

Character development isnt consistent or consistently strong enough. The biggets issue for me is the way the show is so obviously scripted. Everything feels like it just fits into a little slot on the timesheet.

The same guys interact too much every week. Kofi and Barrett shouldn't be in the same segments week-in, week-out. Same with pretty much everyone else involved in a feud.

Stories too complex, really? I think they're far too basic. I think its not that they're too basic or too complex, it's that they're too aimless and disjointed lacking a clear direction. Like, one week AJ is crazy and being a slut, then she's a scrappy pulled her self up by her bootstraps angel with a dirty face, then she's a slut again. Things don't connect the way they should in narratives and the way they have in better times in wrestling. Any one of these ideas would be a basic storyline, but they're constantly jumping from one thing to another. Through the effort of connecting all these disparate ideas and threads into one story you end up with a very complex storyline that is rife with inconsistencies and contraditions and difficult to invest in. I don't get how any AJ storyline has been "basic". If anything it seems random, and not well thought out. If you are making the point that the Kofi/Miz and Kofi/Barrett storylines were simple, I can see how you think that, but to me they don't even feel like storylines, they just do the SAME match every week.

Terrible booking; including little if any character development, and nonsensical storylines
