I give it a C+. There was a lot that didn't work, and a lot that did work.

Solid B.
They've spent the past few years in the right direction, and it took a lot of old stars getting hurt/retiring for it to happen (surprise, surprise). But still, there's an obvious improvement in the mid-card titles...like, actual feuds....and with the help of Main Event and the extra hour on Raw, both the current holders are what I would even consider to be good champions. The tag division isn't all that hot right now, but there's actually a division, so we're already better off than we were last year. We're seeing longer title reigns, and by necessity or otherwise, the future is looking brighter. They still rely far too much on John Cena, but that problem will solve itself as Cena ages and the older fans continue to lose interest in him. On the plus side, despite main eventing nearly every show he's on over the champion, he hasn't held the belt in over a year. I never thought we'd see the day.
They have a bonafide big deal with Antonio Cesaro - he and Sheamus could easily main event a WM in the future. Ziggler has come into his own and is really gaining the kind of natural crowd support he needed. While Cody didn't go nearly as far as I hoped he would have this year, I think a big face turn after the Sandow partnership might be what he needs. Kofi's looking as good as ever, Bryan's massively over, Big Show is inoffensive again, Sheamus is...a good wrestler? All I got for him. Basically, potential potential potential. Whether it gets met or not is up to next year.

I gave it B as well.
They need to do a better job at trying to draw interest in the matches, because the actual match quality has been as good as it's been for a long time and it's a shame that it's not getting the reaction that it deserves.

Gave it a C-. I honestly haven't enjoyed a lot about WWE this year. There has been some awesome stuff (Lesnar coming back, Team Hell No, Cesaro being pushed to the moon, Ryback catching fire, RAW is Christmas) but there's been some f***ing awful stuff too (#AJALL, Sheamus being turned into a bad stand-up comedian, Raw being too damn long, Punk's silly heel turn, Cena not changing a bit).

D
An uninspired product right now that doesnt seem to know what age group to gear its product to so it tries to gear it to everybody and its back to the "Dude you still watch that stuff?" absurdity it was in the early 90s.
They've blown their load with marquee matches, nd they've made so many people mediocre or mediocre champions theres absolutely no reason to expect a match to mean anything.
Guy hads a championship match?
-So what, we've had a half dozen midcarder world champions
IC/US title
- Why even bother?
AJ Lee
- I have no idea
Matches have no purpose, no direction. If someone loses it more often than not is completely forgotten by the next week.
Storylines are aimed towards whatever the next gimmick PPV is, rather than what makes sense
Everybody has wrestled eachother a hundred times and have won/loss against everybody else.

B- Nothing terrible but nothing all that great
The Positive 1) Rock/Cena build up 2) Team Hell-No/emergence of Daniel Bryan 3) Lesnar's return 4) The Sheild 5) Damien Sandow 6) Extreme Rules 7) Emergence of tag-division
Negative: 1) CM Punk's heel turn (I get it, and at first didn't mind it as I enjoy Heyman, but the product has become pretty boring since it happened) 2) Rise of Ryback ( I just can't get into him, Don't find him all that interesting. 3) AJ saturation. (Enough Already) 4) Sheamus/Del-Rio never ending feud 5) Miz face turn (Guy's a natural heel) 6) Decreasing the relevance of Smackdown.ending the brand split. (Roster's huge. Brand split could help make new stars. Without the big stars on Smackdown whats the point of even ending the split? 7) Mania could have been better (More matches, no 18-second fiasco)

PROS - Establishing CM Punk as one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling - The fun that was Eve/Zack Ryder/Kane/John Cena - The build to The Rock vs. John Cena, making it feel hugely important - The Daniel Bryan/A.J. relationship prior to WrestleMania XXVIII - The old-school feel of the Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk feud - Triple H vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVIII - Brock Lesnar's return - Heath Slater challenging a new legend each week - Raw 1000 - Team Hell No - Establishing a whole mess of new talent as legitimate superstars, from Damien Sandow to Antonio Cesaro - The Shield's debut and first match at TLC - Match quality in general
CONS - CM Punk's run as stand-up comedian from May through his heel turn - Sheamus beating Daniel Bryan in 18 seconds - Everything that they've done with A.J. since Daniel Bryan dumped her in April - Ryback. Just...Ryback - The John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis feud - The John Cena vs. Big Show feud - Raw expanding to three hours - Sheamus' run as Irish Cena - The Miz's nightmarishly awful face turn - Booking themselves into a corner with The Rock going for the strap at Royal Rumble
OVERALL GRADE: C+

The good outweighs the bad, imo. And the "bad" this year is just more boring than anything. B+.
Though, I'm basing this more on PPVs than anything else. 3 Hour Raws are kinda rough and Smackdown is just stagnant.

C-.
Good wrestling matches often throughout the year, but booking was abysmal for the most part.

A-, I enjoyed a lot this year Everything Kane was involved with. The creation of 3mb nd The Sheild (love stables), The rise of tag-teams, Dolph, RAW 1000 (and the lead-up) Actually I had it figured at a B+, but I bumped it a grade for Raw is Santa (and the way they rehabilitated ADR on Fri).

C. A lot worse than 2011. It was an A until after Extreme Rules.

It certainly hasn't been great for me. The last couple of years have been a lot better.
The period around Wrestlemania and Extreme Rules was great and both PPVs themselves were top notch. However, since then, the product really hasn't interested me enough. There wasn't a Nexus or a Summer of Punk to keep things ticking over after the big past stars left this time around.
The major storylines have been poor for most of the year (Cena/Kane, People Power the AJ Scandal), the move to three hours for RAW isn't working and I haven't bothered watching Smackdown in weeks now because it just doesn't matter anymore.
The rise of Ryback and the introduction of The Shield have added a bit more interest as the year has come to a close so I'm really hoping for a better 2013.
C- for me.

D-. I don't want to call it an F since there have been things that have worked, but for the most part, this has just been a year of basically everything I don't want in the product. Hoping 2013 is better but I'm not counting on it.

The good outweighs the bad, imo. And the "bad" this year is just more boring than anything. B+. Rough Start, strong finish Pros: -Team Hell no making things fun and interesting and helping the tag division's resurgeance -Daniel Bryan in general -the return of Lesnar AND Heyman -Punk holding the title all year through -End of an Era match -Damien Sandow -Antonio Cesaro -the Shield -JBL commentary and the three man booth at PPV -Ryback's emergeance and how the crowd has backed him Cons: -Johnny Ace and People Power -AJ scandal -Sheamus/Del Rio feud -Rock/Cena (money match, but was tired of hearing about it before the Rumble) -Divas division - holding pattern, Kharma leaves, division falls apart -Lawler nearly dying the ONLY way we could get rid of idiot heel Cole

Positives A good Wrestlemania from both a quality and business standpoint
A very good Extreme Rules PPV featuring three match of the year canidates
It was a good year as far as in ring work goes especially on PPV as there was several excellent matches throughout the year (Taker/Triple H, Cena/Lesnar, Sheamus/Bryan, Shield/Ryback and Hell No)
Last few months of the year were really good with solid booking and focus on good fresh talent (Shield, Ryback, Ziggler, Cesaro)
Negatives An absolute brutal stretch in May-June. I've been watching WWF/E regulary since December 1998 and I can't think of a time where I was just so bored and annoyed with the product. Most of it had to with the whole Cena vs Big Johnny/Big Show feud which was so bad on so many levels (Cena losing to Laurinaitis after beating Brock the month before, Big Show turning heel for 8 billionth time to start another feud with Cena that no one wanted to see).
Although it was good year as far as in ring work goes, it was a pretty lousy one when it comes to storylines. There really hardly no good angles throughout the year and the ones that were good were comedy angles (Anger Management, Heath Slater vs Legends). However the year was filled with plenty of bad ones mostly involving John Cena thus making it even worse, as that meant most of these awful angles were the main focus of the show and were eating up most of the TV time. Although Cena had decent feuds with Lesnar and Punk, he also had probaly the three worst storylines of the year (embrace the hate, feud with Show and Big Johnny, AJ scandal).
Overall I would give it a B-. The lack of interesting storylines makes it hard to go any higher. I think the biggest positive of the year is that it left a positive outlook going into next year with them finally starting to focus new fresh talent for once instead of relying on the same old boring retreads like they usually do.
