I think the term fetish is thrown around a lot. Really, a fetish is when someone is so sexually obsessed with something that they cannot be aroused without it. For example, if you had a foot fetish, you could not be aroused without feet. A kink, on the other hand, is what most people have: where they are sexually stimulated by something, but don't need it to necessarily get off.

The oddest fetish that I have personallty witnessed is not even nasty.
It's basically called Financial Domination where a guy gives a woman money when she asks for it basically a form of submissive and mistress.
Sat in on a cam show just chillin in the room...Girl asks for $100...she gets it...okay $100 is a little steep but okay.

I think the following three things cover all fetishes:
1) Kinky is with a feather; perverted is with a chicken;
2) Safe, Sane, and Consensual ain't just for BDSM;
3) It's only a problem if you need it to get off.
I agree with an above poster that "kink" and "fetish" are tossed around too liberally. A kink is a little extra something that really hits the spot, psychologically speaking. You can do without it the same way you can do without ice cream for dessert; you love the flavor, but you don't require it.
I think some kinks mentioned here are nothing more than "turn-ons." For example, if I understand him correctly, Cageking is simply turned on by bears (no not that kind - that's a fetish). He wouldn't bang some guy and tell him, "you know, you're kinda on the thin side, just saying" later. He'd just date a guy that fits that turn-on or settle for what he has. I dunno, I think there's a difference. I like shorter hair on my women; I like assertiveness; I like athleticism, intelligence. These turn me on, but I don't think they are kinks or fetishes.
As for what I consider to be personal kinks, well, I have told FAWA members that I was tied up "and not in a fun way" when unable to post shows. While I was kidding every time, I'm not joking about what that implies. No-prize to whoever can guess what movie ushered me into puberty and sowed that kink into my wiring.

For me, it's just Tattoo's and piercings. The vast majority of girls I've gone out with have had one or both of these things. Heck, one of 'em, I didn't find out until quite a bit down the line (if you get what I mean), so I think it's just magnetism or something.
