I just saw this for the first time tonight and thought it was a pretty dull and generic action movie. Gina Carano can't act at all! I'm shocked this movie got an 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Thoughts?

Isn't Gina's voice dubbed over in this?

I actually went to see this at the theater because I had nothing better to do. I don't really remember a lot of it, actually. I remember the part when she killed that guy in the hotel room, same with the ending. Also, the beginning when she was running in the woods. That was it.

I thought Carano did decently considering it was her first acting gig. It was an alright flick but considering it was directed by Soderbergh I expected better.

I loved it. Kick-ass fights, better-than-expected acting job from a non-actor (Carano), and there are some damn beautiful scenery here.

I, like many, watched it for Carano. I thought she did well in the fight scenes, but the overall movie was boring and unengaging.

My favorite part was when a tumbleweed legitimately rolled across the screen.

She definitely was good in the fight scenes, she needs work outside of them but she wasn't bad. The rest of the movie wasn't as engaging as I hoped it would be considering it had a totally legit director and supporting cast.

Soderbergh's best film if you ask me.
I was surprised at how much I liked it. I went in ready to hate it because Carano's not an actress, but it's obvious Sodergergh wrote the part for her and played to her strengths so it wasn't as arduous watching her perform as it was other female actresses who do action films. Hell she even out-acted that hump Channing Tatum in their scenes.
I really liked how muted everything was. The action felt more dry and real, less flashy and glamorous, which there was WAY too much of 2011.
