Maybe I'll make a poll..the strong contenders seem to be Angle, Austin, 'Taker, Andre, Kane, Hogan, Goldberg, and Brody.

In terms of how they were depicted in their prime, maybe the Road Warriors?

In terms of how they were depicted in their prime, maybe the Road Warriors? As single wrestlers though they weren't much of a threat, surprisingly. Maybe Hawk was in Japan. We'd have to start including other teams like the Dudley's or Briscoe's then and that's a whole other discussion.

Austin. He legitimately looked the part of someone willing to kick or try to kick anyone's butt, but also the fact he would ho off on anyone at anytime and stun them, be it man, woman, friend, or enemy.

Kurt Angle. kayfabe-wise he has defeated Stone Cold, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, Sting, Shawn Michaels, AJ Styles, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit and he made Undertaker tap out. AJ Styles?

Brock, Taker, Andre, Lesnar... almost unbeatable guys
honorable mention must go to Goldberg, Austin & Shamrock
Kane & Angle lost too many matches/feuds to be considered in here

Tazz WAS one of the baddest. At one time he beat an undefeated Angle and barely broke a sweat doing it.

What about the Ultimate Warrior. Did he ever lose a match clean in his career? He pinned Hogan clean in his prime, made Undertaker his bitch on the house show circuit in 1991, and survived multiple murder plots.

Depends what you mean by kayfabe wise. I was thinking Ultimate Warrior before I opened the thread.

Kurt Angle. kayfabe-wise he has defeated Stone Cold, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, Sting, Shawn Michaels, AJ Styles, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit and he made Undertaker tap out. AJ Styles? The reason why included AJ Styles is because he is the top guy of TNA. I was making a point the Angle has beaten the top guys in the two major wrestling companies in North America. Also I meant to add Samoa Joe as well.

I voted for Andre, based on his booking in the 1970s. He was billed as an unstoppable monster everywhere in the US, and was viewed that way consistently by the fans in every promotion he worked.
I think the reason he doesnt have more votes is that most of the posters here arent old enough to appreciate Andre in his prime. If they remember him at all, it's for losing to Hogan at WM III, when he was FAR past his prime.

I voted for Goldberg, because he RULES THE RING.

Bruno. He held the belt for eight unbroken years, which means he was unbeaten for eight years, facing the best competition of his time.
