Damn it Ryder, I love you but you are just giving out openings. I mean if I were a heel I'd be like "you'd think that someone who had balls drop on him so often wouldn't speak like a 12 year old" or just even "Hey, don't go blaming WWE for that, you need testosterone treatment."
I mean that's like walking right into a thousand one-liners.

Are we sure he can say any words other than Woo Woo Woo You Know It?
It seems unlikely. And it would be hard to convey any kind of shoot when confined to those words.

While I dislike the way he was handled in the aftermath of the Eve/Cena/Kane stuff, he also hasnt done much to keep himself over. ...much? He's been the same guy for the past 3 years. He could've come across as the relatable, average workaday underdog character and they could've done gangbusters with that but because his character never takes anything seriously and falls back on the same 3-4 catchphrases, he's a total disaster when he's out in the open. It's like watching the TV show Joey. "Hmmm, let's get Matt LeBlanc's character from Friends with his daft demeanor, love for sex and sandwiches, and catchphrases, and try to build a show around him with a bad supporting cast and no character progression at all!" To be fair, Matt LeBlanc is a far better actor than Zack Ryder, though.

When he started his webshow, that was him trying something new to get noticed, which worked. I don't think whinging constantly is going to have the same positive results. He's just fishing for sympathy.

I've said this in pretty much every Zack Ryder thread that comes up. Ryder does suck, and doesn't have the talent to back up his initial hype, but Ryder sucking was a huge part of his character's appeal. He was supposed to be a guy who wanted to get his shot. He wasn't as good as his peers, but he was just as, if not more, passionate about wrestling.
Instead of keeping him as a featured midcard feature, WWE did seem to set out to embarrass him and put him out of his element.
I will agree with the sentiment that he's a whiny little bitch, but the reason that I don't like his complaining isn't because I think he's thinks he's hot s*** when he's not. It's because even in his current, diminished role, he's better off than a lot of other guys who would kill to be where he currently is.
Alex Riley had a somewhat bigger upside, got over without the Internet pandering that Ryder inspired in quite a few of their peers (Ted Jr., Tyler Reks, Jack Swagger) and fell harder than Ryder did, but does the most with what little he is being given. He may or may not have had some backstage issues with John Cena, but if he did, he apparently he owned up to it, and accepted his punishment like a man.
Johnny Curtis won NXT, and yet hasn't had an actual match on the main shows since then, being passed up for Brodus Clay, but doesn't complain
Derrick Bateman is the most underutilized guy on the entire roster, but doesn't whine about his spot.
Trent Barreta and Percy Watson are still slumming it on NXT, yet can't even get matches on Superstars despite technically being part of the main roster.
But despite all these negatives about Ryder, he still got the shaft, and I'm still a fan.

Can I write a shoot promo burying the living f*** out of the guy instead? Ditto, I use to like him but this guy is a proven loser. Why should any of us give him ideas for free?

At first, it was slightly endearing that someone so enthusiastic was so uncool. At the end of the day, the novelty wears off, and Ryder is still massively uncool. It's no surprise he bled most of his support out, and if he keeps it up, we'll be seeing him develop an addiction to grapes before long.

Though it's the same sequence of events where writers decide to shackle someone to something that will definitely NOT work.

At this point, I just want Curt Hawkins to come back and bury the living hell out of Zack and his gimmick.
Just because Zack has left himself wide open, and Hawkins deserves a shot.

I like to think this is Ryder trying to be the squeaky wheel, he's trying to be like HBK and show Vince he's got the balls to criticize things to gain respect. But he's too afraid to do it in person, so he just goes on twitter and makes passive-aggressive, un-funny jokes. What he needs to do is develop a nasty drug habit, go in Vince's office and telll him to go f*** himself.

Are we sure he can say any words other than Woo Woo Woo You Know It? This. I never cared for him, but to me he got well and truly exposed on that one Raw opening segment after a PPV when he, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were in the ring as US, WWE, and World Heavyweight champions respectively. I never got the sense that anything of the "Zack Ryder" Character was genuine. He could have used that moment to deliver a truly heartfelt promo. To thank his father, and everyone that was there for him, actually did support him and wanted him to be pushed so much until WWE couldn't NOT do something. But he just fell back into WOO WOO WOO etc. When Punk and Bryan spoke about their wins and all they had gone through to get there from their small beginnings on the indies , I least felt that was Phil Brooks and Bryan Danielson talking. Ryder just came off as kinda phoney.

"I’ve been the best since day one when I walked into this company. And I’ve been vilified and hated since that day because John Cena saw something in me that nobody else wanted to admit. That’s right, I’m a John Cena guy. You know who else was a John Cena guy? Evan Bourne, and he........welp, I've got nothing bro."

I almost went there in a very literal sense. Bourne broke his foot. Tatsu was attacked by the Nexus. And did Cena help? No. What I'm saying is, John Cena is cursed."

It's a half/half situation. Much of his YouTube persona just wouldn't work in an arena. But that being said, WWE did indeed drop the ball IMO. The Eve/Kane storyline was awful.

"Folks I can came out here and blame a bunch of people. Blame Eve for ruining my life, blame Cena for not fighting for my cause, blame the WWE for not taking a chance and doing something with somebody who wanted it more than anyone. But I'm gonna do what a lot of people won't do. I'll take responsibility and I'll blame myself.
The fact is I'm the one who chose delude himself into believing what people told him. Just wait kid, pay your dues, keep at it, and earn your spot, you'll get there. I believed that because I wanted to believe it. Because in my heart I always thought that however tough it might be WWE is a place where you can make a dream come true and the only bigger joke than that concept has been my career the past three years.
The fact is I when I was soaring I was foolish enough to think they were strapping a rocket to me, when really they were tossing me onto the same pile where all the broken dreams and broken promises go. Anything can happen in WWE, but if it happens only exactly the way the company wants.
I allowed myself to accept that John Cena was with me. I deluded myself into thinking the biggest superstar in the company supported me. But Cena? Cena looks out for one thing, and he doesn't even have the decency to make it himself. John only cares about the company. Doesn't matter what it does, what mistakes it makes, what opportunities it blows, good old Cena will always be there to look out for it, with his Hustle and his Loyalty and his Respect.
He's your loudest best friend when you're around, and the quietest stranger when you're away and the company's figured out another way to minimize you.
And worst of all it was I that convinced you people that if held up your Ryder signs and tweeted your pushZack hashtags, that it meant something. It doesn't. Signs don't mean anything. Twitter doesn't mean anything. YouTube doesn't mean anything. And I know that everyone backstage is freaking out because god help them if someone actually suggest their trending talk and graphics might actually be a colossal waste of time and energy.
It certainly was for me, I trended all the time, got more hits on my show, and had my name all over the arena and you know what it go me? Slightly less matches on Superstars. That's what being big with the WWE universe means. That's what being a "social media superstar" amounts to.
I started the Ryder revolution to make myself something special. Instead the WWE got some t-shirt sales, the top talents like Cena or Punk got somebody to "fight for" to make themselves look better, and you people got a guy to just support enough to enjoy yourselves without ever having to really give a damn about him.
No more. Buy the t-shirt, don't buy it. Follow me on twitter, hell block me on twitter. Watch the show, screw it ignore the show entirely, because I don't care anymore. The Long Island Iced Z has been poured out and I've turned the radio off. I'll party, I'll enjoy myself with the ladies, I'll do what makes me happy. But I'm doing on my terms, because dreams are for people content with some fantasy, and Zack Ryder is changing things in reality.
You know it."
